    1. Phil Air Force F-8H Crusader

In late 1977, the Philippine government purchased 35 secondhand U.S. Navy F-8Hs that were stored at Davis-Monthan AFB in Arizona.
Twenty-five of them were refurbished by Vought and the remaining 10 were used for spare parts. As part of the deal, the U.S. would
train Philippine pilots in using the TF-8A. They were mostly used for intercepting Soviet bombers. The F-8s were grounded in 1988
and were finally withdrawn from service in 1991 after they were badly damaged by the Mount Pinatubo eruption, and have since been
      offered for sale as scrap.

    2. Royal THAI Navy A-7E Corsair

Thailand purchased 14 A-7E's and 4 TA-7C's for coastal defense and sea patrol duties.
Aircraft were delivered during the summer of 1995 and were in service with the 104th "White Shark" squadron,
1st Wing at U-Tapao International Airport. These aircraft are currently not operational as of July 20, 2007.
However, the Royal Thai Navy continues to maintain the operability of the aircraft with the necessary maintenance
and by starting them up and taxiing them on the airport's tarmac

Here a new skin with its historical decalset for our A-7 collection.

    6. [Renewed] F-4K Phantom II - Royal Australian Navy

This contains three F-4K Phantom IIs in the markings of the Royal Australian Navy. 724, 805, and 808 Squadrons are portrayed. 805 Squadron is portrayed operating from HMAS Melbourne, while 808 Squadron is based on Sydney. 724 Squadron is portrayed as a training squadron operating from HMAS Albatross, a Naval Air Station at Nowra, New South Wales.

The three time periods of TK's F-4K DLC are represented, original, 75, and 80.

For all, a standard US Navy Gull Grey/White skin is provided, and for the F-4K 80, a two-tone grey camouflage is also provided for 805 and 808 Squadrons. The latter is similar to the camouflage seen on some RAN A-4G Skyhawks near the end of their service life.

      Modified F-4J loadouts are used.

Please note carefully: You cannot use the inboard pylons and the AIM-9 rails simultaneously. If you load one, the other will empty. This is not a bug per se, this is simply an inbuilt limitation for the Spey Phantoms.

The aircraft has been tested in a merged SF2 installation, patched to August 2012. I have included paulopanz's F-4K DLC enhamcement.

I have included a squadrons.ini. This is not necessary for this mod, but is necessary for the RAAF and RCAF F-4M Phantoms.

Incidentally, I'd suggest also getting Wrench's HMAS Australia (SCB-125 "What If") located here: http://combatace.com...cb-125-what-if/

      Backstory

The RAN proposed the acquisition of Essex class carriers to the Government in 1964 to replace the Majestic class HMAS Melbourne. The aircraft the RAN proposed was the F-4B Phantom.

Operating an F-4B from the relatively small deck of an Essex class carrier is problematic, to say the least. On the other hand, the F-4K Phantom modifications would enable the operation of a Phantom from such a small deck.

For further on this (including the RAN proposal itself) see the following:

For an alternate backstory, see this page on my wikia site:

      Installation

***********NOTE: TK's F-4K Phantom II from the DLC Store is required for this mod***************
Copy the contents of the Objects folder into your Objects folder.
Copy the contents of the PilotData folder into your PilotData folder.

      Overwrite all files when prompted.

No new weapons are offered. During the timeframe of this aircraft, the Royal Australian Navy used standard US Navy non-nuclear weapons.

      Credits
TK - For the SF series of games, and the F-4K DLC
Sundowner - For the skin templates, and for the Spey nozzles.
Spinners - For the squadron decals from his RAN F-8E Crusader, and some additions to the skins.
      paulopanz - F-4K DLC Enhancement

P.S. Anyone who believes they have been left out of the credits, please contact me at once so I can correct it.

The idea for this aircraft comes from my alternate history site. It was first operated by this alternate Royal Canadian Navy in 1968 (in this timeline, there was no unification in the Canadian Armed Forces)
The aircraft was meant to serve on Canada's two Essex class carriers, HMCS Bonaventure and HMCS Magnificent in the fleet defence and strike roles. In order to get the performance required for such small carriers, a new turbofan was developed by Orenda, the Orenda Huron. Redesign of the Phantom airframe to accomodate the larger engine was done by Avro Canada.

    8. CF-110M Phantom II - Royal Canadian Air Force

The CF-110M Phantom II for the Royal Canadian Air Force.

There are three versions of the F-4M in this mod.
TK's F-4M: ADC Grey, SEA, RAF Green/Grey, Olive Drab.
TK's F-4M (75): ADC Grey, SEA wrap around, RAF Green/Grey wrap around, Olive Drab, Euro 1.
TK's F-4M (80): ADC Grey, SEA wrap around, RAF Green/Grey wrap around, Olive Drab, Euro 1.

      The following squadrons are provided:
      409 Squadron
      410 Squadron
      416 Squadron
      425e Escadre

Modified F-4D loadouts are used. It is impossible to use the Sidewinder rails and the inboard pylons simultaneously. This is a built-in limitation of the F-4K and F-4M.

      Back Story

The idea for this aircraft comes from my alternate history site. It was first operated by this alternate Royal Canadian Air Force in 1969 (in this timeline, there was no unification in the Canadian Armed Forces)
The RCAF originally did not want the Phantom, being content to stick with the Thunderchief and the Voodoo until the TFX (CF-111C) and FX (CF-15) were ready during the 1970s.
Canadian participation in the Vietnam War changed that. Canada committed Voodoos to defend the social democratic North Vietnam from Nazi German forces operating from the South and from Burma. The CF-101's inability to dogfight, and unreliability in the harsh tropical conditions of North Vietnam made early replacement necessary. The only aircraft available was the CF-4K, being introduced to the RCN as its strike fighter. McDonnell and Avro Canada devised a land-based version with minimal changes. This entered service in 1969 and quickly went to Vietnam. After the war ended in 1975, the Phantom replaced the Voodoo entirely in the RCAF.

    9. [Renewed] F-4M Phantom II - Royal Australian Air Force

The F-4M Phantom II for the Royal Australian Air Force.

There are three versions of the F-4M in this mod.
TK's F-4M: This is intended as a strike aircraft (but is capable in all roles). In this scenario, it was operated by 2 Squadron, 12 Squadron, and 460 Squadron. It comes in the SEA colour scheme, a Green/Grey RAF-style scheme, and an overall olive drab (as on the CF-104).
TK's F-4M (75): This is an interceptor operated by 3 Squadron, 30 Squadron, and 458 Squadron. It comes in an ADC Grey scheme, a wrap-around SEA scheme, the Euro 1 scheme, and a wrap-around Green/Grey RAF-style scheme.
TK's F-4M (80): Again, this is an interceptor operated by 3, 30, and 458 Squadrons. It comes in the grey scheme worn by RAF Phantoms near the end of their service lives, Euro 1, a wrap-around Green/Grey RAF-style scheme, and a wrap-around SEA scheme. Low-visibility national markings are provided for the grey scheme.

I have taken the SF2 Realism Mod SquadronList.ini and added 12, 30, 458, and 460 Squadrons to it, and numbered the decals accordingly.

      Back Story

The idea for this aircraft comes from my alternate history site. It was first operated by this alternate Royal Canadian Navy in 1968.

The RAAF's primary strike aircraft for the sixties was the F-105 Thunderchief. During the Vietnam War, the RAAF used its Thunderchiefs to strike targets of strategic importance to the Saigon Fascist regime. However, German air defences in South Vietnam had taken their toll on the Thuds. With the F-111C suffering serious delays, the RAAF took what was available, the F-4 Phantom. This aircraft had just been introduced by the Royal Australian Navy. In Vietnam, the Phantom enjoyed a high level of success, and showed its multi-role capacity.

With the delivery of the F-111s, and their work up to full operational capability, the RAAF needed to find a mission for its Phantoms, or a buyer. The RAAF recommended early replacement of the F-106 Delta Dart. The Government accepted this option, and the F-4M served as Australia's air defender until the early 1990s.

The wikia article for the aircraft itself is found here:

    12. [Fictional] RAN, RCN, RAAF, RCAF F-4K/M Phantom update pack

      Contents

This contains the following changes and additions:
Capability to mount rail-launched AIM-7 Sparrow missiles on the inboard wing pylons. The F-4K 80 and F-4M 80 have their missiles mounted further forward to clear the chaff and flare dispensers.
Grouping of the inboard pylon and Sidewinder rails together. This makes the loading screen neater, and preserves the inability to use the Sidewinder rails and inboard pylon simultaneously.
Rail launched versions of the AIM-7 Sparrow (AIM-7E to AIM-7P are covered).
An EMI Reconnaissance Pod adapted for the USAF and USN attachment types. This pod is carried on the centreline pylon. It will show up in the loadout under the name "F-4K/M Reconnaissance Pod"
Auscam skins for the RAAF F-4M '75 and F-4M '80. This skin is a recolouring of the SEA wraparound skin using standard Australian vehicle camouflage colours(As seen on this M1A1 Abrams: http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k198/Phil_H_au/misc/abrams_camo_2.jpg ). For the F-4M 75, full colour decals are used, the F-4M 80 uses black decals for lower visibility.
Renaming of the skins in TextureSet.ini for consistency.
Fixed tail skin for the camouflaged RAN F-4K. The upper part of the tailplane now contains the correct unpainted portion.
      Various other skin fixes.
Recoloured decals for the "LateGrey" RAAF F-4M 80. The new decals are significantly lightened for lower visibility.
Removed "USN" from AttachmentType for the Sidewinder rails for RAAF and RCAF aircraft, and substituted USAF.

      Installation

    13. Third Wire DLC A-4K Skyhawk upgrade/ Enhancement for SF2

This is an upgrade/ Enhancement for the Third Wire DLC A-4K Skyhawk.

You will need the DLC A-4K: https://store.thirdw...m/store_dlc.htm

Instillation: As usual simply drop into your mods folder and allow it to override when prompted. (This is important as the export end year date in the AIM-9G is incorrect etc)

      Changes include:

      -a more realistic loadout.ini file,

-correcting of the air intake textures on all the textures,

-corrections to the squadron markings on the ‘Green’ and ‘Maritime Grey’ textures,

-accurate Royal New Zealand Airforce Pilot,

      -activation of the tail hook,

      -opening canopy,

      -landing light,

      -various other data.ini edits.

-a few shots of chaff in each airbrake to simulate the practise of filling the airbrakes with chaff to give the aircraft a limited ability to deploy a onetime burst of chaff by activating the airbrake.

Use the single mission editor to select and make use of some unique RNZAF A-4 loadouts

    14. Battle of Britain terrain visual update (preview)

Gepard's "Battle of Britain" and "Battle of Britain in the 60s and the 70s" terrains visual update.
      version 0.9 preview: 24 of April, 2013

NOTE: For modern computers with at least 768 MB (1 GB+ preferable) of video memory.

This is new set of hand-drawn 2048x2048 tiles and associated .TOD objects for Gepard's "Battle of Britain 1.4" (and it's
      modernized version) terrain.

You can download these great maps here:

      http://combatace.com/files/file/5203-battle-of-britain-terrain-version-14/
      http://combatace.com/files/file/10371-battle-of-britain-terrain-for-the-60th-and-70th/

Right now it's sort of preview, with only summer set included (more below) as the size of the tiles makes it very big
      upload.

Tweaked longer-range fading trees .fx shader included, best to play with ObjectsFade=FALSE and DetailMeshSize=8 or more
(user's system depending, included screenshots taken with DetailMeshSize=10) however I take no responsibility for any damage caused to your system by setting too high values and frying your GPU.

New waternormal.bmp for your kinky Channel-crossing (Cross-chanelling?) pleasures included.

To install follow your instincts. Modified ini files for the "60s and 70s" version of the terrain included.

Also I have included the core ini files made to generate in Terrain Editor the .TOD objects, experiment at your own risk (yet better don't!)

      Knows bugs/issues:
As stated above, just summer set at the moment, more might follow.Given the engine limitations and the way the map was
created, not that accurate from farmer's point of view (english landscape differs from french one IRL) and I generously gave myself
full artistic license to improvise things (read: make them up) as I went with the project.

No buildings in cities, as I refuse to kill the immersion of this terrain modification with stone-age tech box-type TOD objects. Blame
Thirdwire for doing zip about it throught all these years.

"Fair Use" CombatAce license apply. NOT to be included in (or reused for) any kind of payware addon/product without my
authorization. You can tweak/modify and re-upload this set just give me credits as the original author. BoB map created by Gepard.

      Have fun!

    17. (Fictional) A-TACS Camo for Florian's Alpha Jet

A-TACS (fictional) Skin for Alpha Jet

Hello guys, first upload so please be gentle, this is a fictional skin I created for Florian's Alpha Jet using a desert type A-TACS pattern.

      INSTALLATION
      1- Decompress A-TACS.rar into a temporary folder
2- Add the A-TACS folder to your Alpha Jet A folder located in your SF2 mod folder (by default in Windows 7: C:/Users/(your user name)/Saved Games/Thirdwire/StrikeFighters2/Objects/Aircraft/Alpha Jet-A)
      3-Go Fly!

      CREDITS
All credit goes to Florian, who made the original model and templates, I just did some minor photoshop work

Tested in SF2 full 5 merged in both Alpha Jet versions available (with and without ECM)

      GOOD HUNT!

    18. [What If] 74 Squadron Eurofighter Typhoon

[What If] Skins for Eurofighter Typhoon

Credit for the original model goes top Bongodriver and Brains 32 for converting this to SF2.
The original skins were produced by Sundowner.
These are the guys who deserve the credit for the aircraft.

This pack adds decals for 8 single seat FGR 4 aircraft marked for service with 74(F) Squadron RAF. Included are two sets of decals – a standard lo-vis set and a hi-vis set.
Background:- In 2012 as Europe struggles with financial chaos and the threat of international conflicts loom the UK Government realise that the Armed Forces are not fully equipped to handle more than a single conflict. To adress the issue 8 Typhoon FGR4 aircraft destined for the Royal Saudi Air Force are diverted to RAF service and assigned to No. 74(F) Squadron. They are tasked as a Rapid Reaction Force.

To install simply unpack and drop into your mod folder.

    22. [Fictional] SAAB JAS39P Grifo (Griffon)

This is a mod of the JAS-39C from the Gripen Team to make it look like fighterplane from the portuguese air force.

      BACKGROUND:
According to EESP (European Economic Stability Protocol) signed in the middle of 2012 in Brussels by the 27 partners of the EU, the countries with a high rate of debt (Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal etc.) had to execute all measures necessary in order to reduce their debts. In article 12 "About the defense of the homeland", the countries of the EU constituted that all redundant units had to be dissolved and the equipment to be sold.

Furthermore, the armies of the affected countries had to change their "non-european" equipment for european equipment. Portugal had therefore to sell their US fighterplanes and replace them by european ones. In exchange, the equipment will be cheaper than for standard customers from outside the EU.

The F-16s got sold to Norway. The mayor manufacturers of fighters in Europe were Dassault, Saab and the Eurofighter Corporation. The portuguese air force decided to replace the Vipers from the 301st with Gripens and the ones from the 201st with Mirage 2000B fulfilling in that way the need of a capable multirole fighter-bomber. Both planes started to be delivered at the end of 2012, being fully operational in the early 2013.

Portugal and Spain, in addition to several other countries, recognized the effectiveness of a digital camo and elaborated their own grey-scaled digital camo. While Spain will be using it on their next delivery of Typhoons, which will replace the F-18Cs of the Ala 12, Portugal will use it on their new planes right from the beginning.

      INSTALLATION:
Simply drop the Folders into your Strike Fighters Mods Folder.

      CREDITS:

VERY VERY BIG THANKS TO GUX FOR ALLOWING ME TO RELEASE THIS PLANE!

Thanks to Brain32 for adapting the plane to SF2-Standards!

    23. Carrier Duel: KNM Norskehavet vs the Kiev

      CARRIER DUEL
This is a modification pitting the fictional Norwegian Carrier KNM Norskehavet vs Soviet Aviation Crusier Kiev on a sea battlefield.

Each Carrier carries their compliment; Kiev a flight of helicopters and Yak-38s; Norskehavet F-11s & S-3As. This is a less intense
engagement since neither side really has the firepower to finish the other off and the pace is slower. It makes for a refreshing change of
pace from three tons of Crusie Missiles. Due to issues; Only the Norskehavet Force is playable.

Good luck and may the best Air Crew win.

      Requirements:
You are required to own Strike Fighters 2: North Atlantic for this mod to work properly. Everything else is included.
Beware: The mod has its own alterations of the Kiev. If you have a modded Kiev, simply change
CarrierNumSquadrons=1 to CarrierNumSquadrons=4 and continue normal use.

      Installation:
Unzip into the Saved Games/Thirdwire/Strike Figthers 2 North Atlantic (or any mod folder of your choice, connected to SF2: NA).

Please do read the enclosed credits, as without the work of those mentioned, this modification could not be made.

    24. Carrier Duel: Nimitz vs Kitty Hawk

This is a modification pitting the USS Nimitz vs the USS Kitty Hawk on a sea battlefield. Escorts are included,
but merely to provide balance to the surface defence capacities of the ships. This package contains two campaigns,
one for each carrier. None of the Carriers aircraft compliments are correct but are to be shown as representative
      of respective eras.

Each Carrier carries a Fighter Squadron (F-14A/F-4N), a medium strike squadron (A-4E/A-7E) and a heavy attack squadron (A-6 Intruders). They also carry
two E-2 Hawkeye Squadrons each, to provide naval recon and early warning.

Good luck and may the best Air Crew win.

      Requirements:
You are required to own Strike Fighters 2: Vietnam & Strike Fighters 2: North Atlantic for this
mod to work properly. The mod only use stock items.

      Recommended:
A Cockpit for A-6A / A-6E_79 is recommended. The F-4N DLC is also recommended.

      Installation:
Unzip into the Saved Games/Thirdwire/Strike Figthers 2 North Atlantic (or any mod folder of your choice, connected to SF2: NA & SF2: Vietnam).

    25. F-4K Phantom II - VC-724, Royal Australian Navy

This is an additional skin for my F-4K Phantom II - Royal Australian Navy portraying the markings of 724 Squadron.

In real life, 724 Squadron (or VC-724) was the RAN Fleet Air Arm's fast jet training squadron. 724 Squadron commissioned in the RAN in 1955 as a fighter training squadron. In real life, it operated various types including the C-47, Sea Vampire, Sea Venom, Macchi MB-326H trainers, and A-4G Skyhawks. From 1972, VC-724 operated only Macchis and Skyhawks. Australia's carrier, HMAS Melbourne was decommissioned in 1982, and VC-724 transferred its Macchis to the RAAF and absorbed VF-805's Skyhawks. The Squadron decommissioned in 1984, with its remaining aircraft being sold to the RNZAF.

The Phantom skin provided here contains the "gold delta" tail design used on many of VC-724's Skyhawks. In line with the markings of my operational Phantoms, the decals for the squadron patch (splitter plate), squadron number, and ship name are also provided.

      Installation

************************TK's F-4K Phantom II DLC is required for this skin************************
Copy the contents of the "Objects" folder into your Objects folder. When prompted, merge the folders.

      Credits
      Sundowner for his F-4 templates
