*This mod will aboslutely =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs; it is designed for use =ONLY= in a WW2 PTO-centric mods folder that is built off the SF2:NA exe.*

A very quick and dirty mod for the WW2 Phillipines Island terrain that adds the required NA "coding" and _water.bmp with carrier stations.

This is =NOT= a full terrain: just inis & a _water.bmp. It is to be applied to the modified version of the terrain I (re)relased in 2008, avaliable at this URL:

New main, data, targets, nations,and types inis, along with (excessvely) modified desert airfield inis, allow for a 'drag-drop' update to SF2NA. A new SF2NA style water bmp with 2 carrier 'zones' was created and included.
LimitedNations is set to TRUE; make sure you have the latest version of the WW2 Nations ini, as 'IJN' is most definatly one of the nations needed.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, PLEASE read them for necessary instructions. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too. More Carrier Capable Aircraft are coming soon ... please be paitent! I'm only one guy doing 6 peoples work on no budget....

Installation
============
SF2 series users:
As usual.Install the Objects to your Objects in the MOD folder.
The Sound file PropLoop2.WAV goes in your Sounds folder, if you don't already have it there.
SF1 series users:
Put the Aircraft/SK-16_Harvard folder in yor Objects/Aircraft folder
put the FILES in Pilots folder to your Objects/Aircraft folder
Then put the RSAFyellow and RSAFgreen folders from extras/forSF1series in yor Objects/Aircraft/SK-16_Harvard
and let the files overwrite.
(There is a problem with the decals since there was a max no of decals per mesh
but one way of fixing this is to use the "prepainted insignia versions" located in extras/for_sf1series/)

NOTE: To get correct squadron numbers you need to fix the SQUADRONLIST.INI in the PilotData folder.
This is my "default" where the swedish squadrons is index 378-394. (This is as far as I know the standard sqlist from sf2 series)
The squadron numbers need to match the decal's imagenames (the number part of the name) in the Decal folder.

The (North American/Noorduyn AT-16) SK-16 Harvard was an advanced trainer in the Swedish airforce from 1945-1974 !

I've put this lot together over a period of time, it was intended to be just for my personal fun but I've had a fair bit of intrest in it so I've decided to release it "as is", I dont thnk it will ever be what I call finished as there's lots more I'd like to do.....I just dont have the time anymore, so please feel free to make amendments to it [it could do with the SF2NA naval features adding to make things a little more intresting]. Any changes you do make, please post/upload at CA for everybody to enjoy.

PZL TS-11 ISKRA by Veltro2k

The PZL TS-11 ISKRA (English: Spark) is a Polish jet trainer aircraft,
used by the air forces of Poland and India. It is notable as the main
trainer plane of the Polish Army, the oldest jet plane still in service
in Poland - and one of the most reliable.

This is the first, old Veltro's ISKRA.

I tweaked all the entries (pylons, lights, weapons loadouts, taxing etc.)
and made 3 PWL & 1 IAF basic skins.

An optional data.ini for early ISKRA bis A (no weapons) included.

Working canopy: key 10

The next ISKRA in the makings will be perfect, this can't be finish up
due source files loss.

So accept this as it is, I made my best.

McDonnell Douglas C-12 (F-4C) for SF2

Mod of the stock F-4C modifying it to a former fighter plane from the spanish air
force.

YOU WILL NEED SF2:E AT LEAST TO GET THIS PLANE RUNNING!

BACKGROUND
Spain received the F-4C during the 1970s. The first 36 planes were put into service in 1971 in the 12th Wing (Ala 12) stationed in Torrejón de Ardoz (Madrid), 4 more planes got into active service in 1978.
After more than 69,000 hours of active service and the loss of seven planes, the C-12 were taken out of service in 1989. Nowadays, the EF-18A and B are the planes assigned to the Ala 12.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Drop the folders into your Objects folder. If asked to overwrite, click yes.

Mig-23 MLD "Afghan Warrior" Skin

Soviet/Afghan AirForce Mig-23(MLD)'Afghan Warrior' skin for SF2(Any and all).

Skin to represent an example of the Mig-23(ML?) flown by the Soviet Air Force in Afghanistan during the invasion.The skin is based on a very old picture I found in an aircraft reference book.Since the photo is in Black and White and with a very high contrast,the aircrafts camo colours and serial numbers are based on speculation and every attempt has been made to make them look as close to the real world example,as possible.Historically,it has been speculated that a lot of Soviet Floggers and ground attack machines were painted with the shark mouth.A similar aircraft was rumored to have been shot down by a Pakistani F-16A Block 15.But,the wreckage as usual,fell inside Afghan territory and was never recovered hence,not giving much credibility to the claim.

This skin can only be used with the Mig-23 model made by TMF and only the sharp nosed one.For the model,I would suggest looking in the SFP1 section at many of Lindr2's mods(from which the base textures came).For starters,I would suggest this:http://combatace.com/files/file/11544-mig-23p-late/ (Though the cockpit may be a little advanced for the 80s).

NOTE:All the textures are in the BMP format and are of the 2048x2048 size.Users with slower machines may want to resize to half for optimal or even acceptable performance.

Installation:
After unzipping Af_Vet,place the Folder inside the skins folder into the aircraft folder of your Mig-23.Note:If you do not know anything about the mod folder,the immediately stop the installation,go to the COmbatACE Forums,Go to the Strike Fighters 2 Knowledge Base and take a look at the thread explaining the Strike Fighters 2 mod folder mechanism.

Hurc's Nellis Range Mod

This is a modification to the original bombing range to make the home base airfield a likeness of Nellis AFB and take advantage of some of the new Hi-Res Desert textures now available. It also includes some of the objects from the Mescalero Proving Grounds range made By ChampionsVA56.
Nellis AFB is located alot farther South on the map that the original base was. This should eliminate getting aggressor A/C right over Nellis as you take off.

A few drone and aggressor Aircraft are included in this download. You'll see these flying around the range, and parked at the Range Airfield. All weapons have been removed, or they are equiped with training missles
so they won't hurt you.

Only hostile aircraft with a "NationName=RANGE" or "AGRS" will show up on this terrain.
A modified version of the NATIONS.INI file has been included. It is the stock file with the "RANGE" and "AGRS" nations added. You need the "RANGE" nation defined if you want the drone's showing up and need the AGRS nation for the Aggressor A/C.

Provided your other terrains have their "LimitedNations" setup, you won't see the drones's or Aggressor A/C anywhere except the Range. A modified version of the SQUADRONLIST.INI is included with the USAF Thunderbirds squadron added.

The bombing range targets use the layout of the Mescalero Proving Grounds range and the drones and Aggressor A/C use its runway to launch and recover. Note: the target area that was known as the
Warehouse Targets is now Friendly and is a called the Range Control Facility. When you choose to do a Close Support mission, your tanks will be lined up defending it from the enemy tanks.

One thing that is a "feature" not a bug, is that you will have Friendly A/C spawning from Nellis, sometimes right when you are, as Escort or SEAD flights. You cannot collide with them and they will go right thru you as applicable.

This mod contains 3 accurate skins to represent the Mirage 5 PA2 aircraft currently in service with the Pakistan Air Force.These skins are NOT edited versions of the stock Mirage 5F camo skin but,are completely rebuilt by me with accurate camo patterns.The following variants are represented:
