Wrench's SF2 KAW Terrain adds a whole new dimension to SF1 KAW. (Have a little shimmering in the trees, but still great.)

It's a great sim - the dogfight action is really seat-of-the-pants stuff, especially with all the mods installed. Von S

No problem - that was many years ago so most people have forgotten. Below is my online image website. I used to use Photobucket but, like so many guys, I gave up on them when they raised their prices without improving their service. You might have to register to view, but it is free so it will only take a second. https://postimg.org/files

Heh - Laton's old CL4 is one of my first 3D models! Back when I was using my many years of drawing board and CAD drafting experience to learn 3dsMax, Laton agreed to map and release the CL4. By my current standards, it needs modernizing. At that time, I'll probably modify the wings and details to make a CL2.

I work with VonS, who is developing some very sophisticated FMs for these aircraft. He also suggested a new Sopwith Triplane/Pup, in addition to a new Caproni Ca 3. I would also like to hear from Stephen1918 to ensure we do not duplicate each other's efforts.

And a new Caproni Ca.3! And some others - such as Avro 504, DeHavilland D.H.4 or Ansaldo S.V.A. 5. They are better than those already available for the game!

Been tweaking the environsys file a bit more today as a short break from the FMs, particularly the section called [HighAlt] - and I'm now seeing results that I've never seen before in FE2, in terms of mixture of clouds, breaks in the weather, lovely plays of color and shadow, also in terms of depth of the sky (will roll this into a ver. 9.1 update of the FM pack eventually). Managed to almost get rid of the very thin band of darker blue (present in the pics above in my previous post) that separate the high altitude sky from mid-altitude and from the horizon, by putting in the same color values for the high alt sky, high alt horizon color, and high alt fog color that are used for the [Day1] entry that is for afternoon/late afternoon sky settings anyway. A slightly crisper blue emerges this way for the high altitude sky, and further reduces evidence of that thin darker blue belt that seems to sit at around 40,000 to 50,000 feet. Also interesting is that an increase in the values for the HighAltColorStart and ColorEnd entries seems further to help with this, but also seems to "position" distant clouds in a more realistic way in relation to clouds in the foreground - will test this further but these obscure entries are already producing new results on my rig. I'm now getting an obvious "sfumato" effect (fine shading and haze pioneered by Da Vinci) with cloud contrasts and breaks in the weather - particularly evident in the pics where I'm flying around the Suez canal in my trusty Alb. D.3. Happy flying, Von S

Hopefully my day job as an automotive market analyst can finally come in useful... 1. Which bodystyle do you prefer? Sedan? Coupe? Cabriolet? SUV? Crossover? Shooting Brake? Hatchback? 2. Premium / non premium brand price point? 3. Buying outright? PCP? PCH? Lease? Bank Loan? If so, what's your monthly Total Cost of Ownership budget? 4. Powertrain / fuel type? Diesel / Petrol / Plug-in Hybrid / Mild Hybrid / Battery Electric? 5. Any specific features? Panoramic roof / Connectivity (remote start, Apple Carplay etc) / Advanced driver assistance (lane keep etc)?

Yeah, I know . I tried and all attacks are ok, but if AI decide to dive bomb there is no way to stop him. He will always slow down and climb . I tried to set some idiotic distance for dive bombing like 300 km, but AI will rather try fly away this 300 km than use level bombing ;-) So my question is rather .. 'Where is limit of idiotism, that AI will switch to level bombing ?' ;-) Below are my settings after HOURS of experiments . Level bombing is really cool. He is flying almost 500 kts at 700-900 feet and hitting with sniper accuracy . [RocketAttackAI] RollInAlt=800 RollInRange=10000 SecondPassRange=10000 ReleaseRange=6000 [DiveBombAI] ReleaseCount=2 ReleaseInterval=0.2 AimPitchOffset=3.0 [LevelBombAI] RollInAlt=870 RollInRange=10000 PullOutAlt=409.7 ReleaseAlt=410.5 SecondPassRange=10000 SecondPassAlt=800 ReleaseCount=2 ReleaseInterval=0.25 AimPitchOffset=2.4 [StrafeAI] RollInRange=5500.0 RollInAlt=1350 PullOutAlt=80 ReleaseRange=1800.0 SecondPassRange=4500.0 SecondPassAlt=1350 ReleaseCount=0.15 AimPitchOffset=-1.2

How many miles do you need to drive Daily? Do you have a minimum performance threshold (acceleration) ? Does it need to carry the kids?

alexis99, Wrench is probably right from most of what I've read , also. The photo-recon Panthers mostly carried the drop tanks. So... try what I suggested earlier on the -5P models. Let me know how it goes. Wrench, thanks for having my back. streakeagle, I'd also read that the Panthers often specialized in their missions, such as taking out gun emplacements before the slower moving prop planes moved in for the kill on the designated target. Then the Panthers moved to top cover. Good reading.

I'd prefer a car with turbo charger/s that would be comfortable like my Hyundai I30 (similar to the 2010 Elantra touring in the US)... perhaps an SUV if you're looking for a big car and not a sedan/hatchback

You catched another bug there, thanks for pointing that out. I wont bore you with what caused it, but it is fixed in the new v1.00 of TFDtool. I made the planning map generation a little faster, and updated the manual a little.

Sorry, Geezer. I had no idea that model was yours. You are always full of surprises.

I haven't done this for a long time, but a Halberstadt Cl 2 is the only aircraft missing from the planeset in TK's original campaigns. I've been able, thanks to the modders here, to replace all the aircraft which had a substitute, with the exception of this one. On this one, I've had to use Laton's CL4 as a substitute for a substitute.

Frigging Heck Geezer - you are like an Aircraft Production Factory all by yourself............ But I must say that these new aircraft will be most welcome. Thanks Geezer for these new machines, much appreciated. RUSTY

Tweaking of horizon cloud fog to "false" in the environsys file, combined with the clouds from the Stary effects pack v. 1.3 - has given me interesting results recently, with a nice combination of WOFF-style clouds in the foreground, and background clouds more visible than the high cirrus ones that emerge if horizon cloud fog is set to true. Also enjoying that the Gotha G.III in this case, after its high-compression FM tweaks, has rolled onto its back after its engine fire - always new surprises in FE2. The Nieuport 23bis makes for a wonderful interceptor by the way. Happy flying, Von S

next, a sample of the load out and pilot screens, thinking of making the backgrounds less generic and more tailored for each aircraft, the screens below that are an ace combat inspired menu screen and a hanger screen for an F-14 though again, im thinking of using coloured in game stills so the skin is shown
