I can assure you the AI version of the Phoenix used by the TMF F-14 Tomcat Super Pack v1.32 by @Caesar works for AI, but the AI fires more than one. Below is a burning Flogger of proof:

Hello everyone! In these sunny April days, we are working on the next big update, which we hope will be released in May. Previously we can say that this update will again be very voluminous in terms of the amount of content being released. A little bit later we will be able to say exactly what will be in this update, but we are aiming to launch a new noteworthy aircraft of the "Battle of Bodenplatte" project, two WWI airplanes in the "Flying Circus" project and two new tanks in the "Tank Crew" project. We also continue to work on evolution of the aviation part of the project and on deepening the gameplay of the tank part. A little later in the developer’s diaries we are planning to tell in detail about a new big "feature" of the multiplayer game - the "Battlefield Marshal" mode, the development of which is almost completed and will soon move to the testing and debugging phase. In the tank project, we are working on the functions of the tank commander, which will allow you to control both your crew and subordinate units. Also in the next update, we plan to significantly expand the model of damage to the systems and parts of the tank. Today we want to show you a couple of the first in-game cockpit shots of our new "Swallow" - the Me 262 A "Schwalbe" fighter-bomber. Honestly - it turned out to be an incredibly interesting aircraft: Today we also will dedicate a couple of screenshots to the almost completed crew of the M4A2 "Sherman" tank. Since the tank has an extremely wide range of possible positions for firing and driving by various crew members - this work was not easy, but the result is interesting too: And another screenshot shows a new particle-based effects technology inside the cockpits in the first-person view. In the first stage, we will introduce this system for tanks (the effect of a fire starting from spilled fuel, the effect of extinguishing this fire, smoke when the engine is damaged, powder gasses when firing from a cannon and a machine gun). In the medium term, we also plan to use this technology for airplanes: And many of your have inquired and commented about the Arras map for Flying Circus. It is underway by our partner Yugra Media. So far, everything regarding this map is on schedule, but work is still early and we don’t have any WIP shots for you to see yet. We are doing our best to help Yugra make a quality map for you.

I still need to add more static airplane parking space and complete the night lights for side runway. What's included: 48 models all new with the Shadow ini file for all the 44. this air base is modeled using the Ahmad al-Jaber Air Base in Kuwait and you can use the same for the Ali Al Salem Air Base https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ahmad_al-Jaber_Air_Base https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ali_Al_Salem_Air_Base all my file should include the Strike Fighters 2 Series game file (.old) and the texture required. Credit goes to the following: - GKABS for creating the model and skins - Menrva for helping me with testing the AB more than one time. Big Thanks to you my friend. - https://www.textures.com as a use a lot of their photos to create the skins. - Google lol for searching for information and downloading some of the photos to use with some skins - MFS communities that I took some ideas from to make some models. - And finally not to forget the wonderful site of https://combatace.com and all the nice member's and their dedicated support for this game. If you need any assistance please contact me at gkabs@gkabs.net -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Installation: Just follow the readme file included with the zip file If you need any further help please read the Knowledge Base at: https://combatace.com/forums/forum/268-thirdwire-strike-fighters-2-series-knowledge-base/ LICENSE: You are allowed to use this model and everything included with it for personal non-profit use for Strike fighters 1 and 2. another note on that, in many weapons packs (individual and in campaigns) there are two versions of guided munitions; the regular and a whatever_AI version. never dived in to see the difference other than the AI version is actually usable by the AI.

SH, you are a far more advanced person than am I. I respect that. I also Respect Otten's offering, but regret that was initially offered with many admitted flaws, and so required many modifications. When I hear him say that his project is GTG, and fully de-bugged, then I will try it out. In the meantime, I have too much on my personal, mere user, plate, to begin to attempt things that others, such as yourself, are better equipped to do. Full disclosure: Mr. Otten's provoking me got me temp banned from SHQ, due to what I believe (others in private messages, concurring) was the Moderator making an unfair judgment against me, and not taking Otten to task whatsoever. I read there, in SHQ, but do not post, because the same Mod is there, and I have zero faith in his fairness. I post some comments there in IM with various members, and with reading, stay in contact. I do not flatter myself that I am but a simple user, with occasional suggestions on how to improve the game. Most of my suggestions will be considered, and found to be impracticable; Or maybe not, at further consideration, perhaps by other developers. As a EAW player, I wish Otten all success. Despite past differences, I wish it for the benefit of the game, and the Community But as a simple user, I can't afford the time and disk space to download what was admittedly a problematic --and so far not fully GTG download. I say all this with all respect to you, SH, and only explain things as far as I have done so you can have a better understanding of things, as they stand. I remain, with respect, a simple User, RIBob

we have tested the framerate and there was no drop, as all the models are low poly ;) No there are not part of the AB they are all separate. ;)

Actually they engage, they are marked as being engaged in level bombing, but since getting out of that state (and following the next waypoint, or trying another pass) requires dropping their bombs and they can't/won't, they remain in the level bombing mode, flying level, straight in the same direction. The dive bombing profile is different because there's a distance to target/altitude set of conditions for getting out of it and doing another pass, so even if there is no weapon release, they disengage and try another pass, "endlessly". At least the part I identified, you can see it by using the debug HUD info, it tells you which AI profile the plane you're observing is performing, the strike crafts going straight endlessly are stuck in level bombing.

It's a bug that happens on stock SF2. Replaying the same mission works most of the time, they engage their targets instead of flying on. What Major Bloodnock mentions is another problem that exists with third-party weapons. But in that case you'd see planes diving to attack the ground targets, yet they simply won't drop modern bombs unless they are dumb, unguided versions.

Well since I don't have the time to learn DCS, I've been acting out my Tomcat fantasies lately... There go six AIM-54Cs towards Libyan bombers... Yup, I hand-flew the Tommy down. Of course. That reminds me, don't I have something more modern that doesn't require me to remember how to sweep the wings back I should be finishing up. I thought so - stay tuned.

Well, yes, I have. I have also created some of the mods in the missions/campaign section. And thoroughly tested them before-hand. And never did I come across a need to make the changes you are talking about. For someone relatively new to this forum, you are incredibly rude and cocky, and insulting to the very people who have spent their free time creating these free campaigns for you to use.

Glad you like it. It was the best looking squadron marking of the S.79 units in Spain. I have only been able to find small, low res versions of the graphic. Would you happen to have a larger, higher res version?

there are many different skill levels and personalities amongst the modders here. some add complete instructions barney style, some dont. most of us dumbasses either figure it out (asking for assistance in forum when necessary) or i guess go back to Ace Combat on PS. i know this dumbass got busy learning some years ago. However, if you provide reciept of your purchased mod, we will happily provide a refund or discount on your next mod. Oh wait, you didnt pay? Thats right, we do this for free, working topics we want to around our personal work and life schedules. many projects (esp. campaigns) are years in the making as less than a dozen people are directly active on it, some cases only one primary with small help from a couple of others. shit gets forgotten about at the end, but mods are still free. as a matter of fact it states in most readme's that the mod is freeware and not to be used in any payware projects. what you paid to be a premium member is a donation to the site owner that supports the running of the site as a whole. the modders are freelancers that want to share their work with others in the community, not Erik's employees. but presentations by end users that act as if they are paying for the mods have been discouraging many modders into not releasing any new projects, and pissing others off. if there is a specific issue with a specific mod, address the original author that released it (yes for each individual mod of those many). constructive criticism is actually always welcome. but general bitching and griping "on behalf of others" isnt necessary. we can look up our FB accounts to get that. Clear now?
