In 2014, the Polish MoD decided to replace the fleet of Polish Air Force's ageing MiG-29s, which were becoming more and more obsolete and not suitable with the requirements of modern combat. The new promising Swedish design of an upgraded JAS-39 was chosen and the deliveries began in 2018 with 64 aircraft purcahsed in total, both one- and two-seaters. That's the little background story. The mod itself includes the E and F versions of the aircraft. 2 pointsNo, no, dear friend! I want BM-21 Grad in the game many many years! This vehicle is most common on any battlefield. I have waited till once apon atime one brave man will do it. I have waited... i have waited.. and decided to do myself. I want the BM-21 in game but i don't want to do it . BUT! If you want to do, i can leave it to you )) The modeling for this game do not bring any money nor glory so i can easy forget this model. It is important to me just to know will BM-21 Grad in game soon or not.

(at least standard tube artillery; rockets too iirc) the original American SouthWest has defense posts on the Blue (Texan) side with arty positions - watch a CAS mission against one of the forts; the arty engage the tanks. Also, Brownsville/Matamores batteries shoot at each other. one of the Israel maps (can't remember if it's IME or Isreal2) has Bar Lev fortress, with M-109s that engage Egyptian forces across the canal. They fire back with D-20s some WW2 PTO maps, I seem to recall working SCUDs in either the ODS or Iran/Iraq terrains (maybe both) We been doing this a while -- we do know how to make things work. 1 pointIIRC i had static artillery (mortars or so) on my Afghanistan terrain for WOI in the area of Jalalabad. The mortats of both sides fired on each other. In First Eagles i made a similar thing where battleships and ground arty made fire exchanges. The objects (arty, ships, tanks) were placed as static ground objects on the map. 1 pointHi Agathosdaimon, Yes you can still play the missions without the the named skins the game will use the deflate plane skins. Yes you can play CK without a joystick ... although the movements will not be as smooth but it can be played. Greetings Deutschmark

1 pointArtillery guns only fire in a straight trajectory, like with Tank guns; HOWEVER, rocket artillery can be implemented and is already in use on a number of terrains. As for vehicles, I believe there is a US MLRS somewhere in the d/l section as well as the BM-14-16 - the precursor to the BM-21: GKABS, you might want to check out that model when it comes to seeing exactly how the system itself is implemented in the SF2 game engine

1 pointit sure as hell does. Trust me on this ...I KNOW. There are terrains out there with fixed batteries, and they DO engage targets to the limit of the gun range. AND 800,000 years ago, Crusader added rockets to the stock 3W BM-21. we also have other surface to surface rockets that work, too.

I have a suggestion if you don't mind. while making this bear in mind you can use the base truck for many different vehicles from cargo trucks to radar carriers. maybe make the truck portion "modular" so in the future if you feel the need to make more versions it's easier.

USAF KC-135 Skinpack 2: 1974 through 1987 This skin pack will feature skins for all USAF KC-135 users from 1974 until 1987. This includes the Air National Guard and Air Force Reserves as the aircraft became available. Requirements: any version of Strike Fighters 2, and the KC-135 mod found here Installation: first, get the Mirage Factory C-135A/B and KC-135A/E/R 1.0 from the above link (if you dont have it already) then unzip this to the mod folder, allowing overwrites. Known Issues: this is meant as eye candy. unfortunately, SF2 doesnt support air to air refueling so the best to be done is set up a recon mission and then park it in an orbit. Also, Dels C-130 pit does not line up with the model very well. it is included mainly so that it can be player selected (i had to test it somehow). In the skins with ADC tgas, loading more than 8 aircraft on a mission will produce irregularities (like only the front half of the camo showing). So far I have not seen more than 8 on a ramp, and it is doubtful you need to load more than that in one area for a mission. Just be warned if you throw all 16 in at once. BTW, this thing is huge!!! over 3 1/2 GB size So, Whats Included?: Skins with at least two examples from every USAF unit to fly the KC-135 from 1974 - 1987, with separate skins for Active Duty and reserve forces Colors represented include silver lacquer, ADC gray, and Shamu dark grey over medium grey. Skins from 1987 have a mix of Shamu and ADC grey colors as tga. Same skin, two different paint jobs Skins from 1983-1985 have a mix of ADC grey and silver lacquer colors. Skins from the 1970s are all silver lacquer and minimal tail markings Engines on the A models were adjusted to produce heavy smoke at max thrust. Burning water, just like the real thing. Drogue to simulate refueling probe equipped aircraft. Gripen NG for the United States – F-39A/B Griffin Blk 1/5 1.0 Due to a change in US government policy driven by cost overruns, project delays and negative public (aka voter) opinion the USAF F-35A order is halved. To make up the shortfall a cheaper 4.5 generation aircraft is sought to replace the rest of the F-16 fleet. New built F-16s are considered but ultimately a license built US specific version of the Gripen NG is chosen. To help offset the loss of the cancelled F-35 order Lockheed Martin is awarded the contract to build the F-39 along with the US specific modifications. The most important of which is full data/ sensor integration and cooperative war fighting with the F-35A fleet. The USAF designate the US built Gripen the F-39A/B Griffin. The first Block 1 Griffins off the Lockheed Martin production line are identical to the JAS-39E/F and equip CONUS Air National Guard units to replace the F-16 in the air sovereignty role. At the same time Lockheed Martin produce a handful of developmental airframes to integrate the full USAF arsenal of weapons and apply some of the technology from the F-35 program. The probe air-to-air refuelling system is also replaced with a flying boom receptacle. The end result is the F-39A/B Block 5 which is used to replace the F-16 in those USAF units that are not going to be equipped with the F-35A. The Block 5 Griffin is fully compatible with the F-35 and shares the same data link technology. This means Griffin equipped units can be used cost effectively in the low intensity warfare role but when required can be ‘force multiplied’ by the F-35A in a modern battlefield. All Block 1 aircraft will be upgraded to Block 5 standard. Included in this mod are: - F-39A Block 1 Griffin - F-39B Block 1 Griffin - F-39A Block 5 Griffin - F-39B Block 5 Griffin - F-39A Block 5 Griffin Aggressor - F-39B Block 5 Griffin Aggressor - 14 different USAF/ANG squadrons - 22 different skins To Install simply un pack and drop into your mods folder. Notes: - The Block 1 aircraft have a reduced weapons capability compared the Block 5 as they can only carry the weapons currently cleared on the Jas-39 Gripin (Aim-9M, Aim-120C etc) this is reflected in the loadout.ini. - The pilot is a re-skinned JHMCS model to look like the Cobra HMD that is integrated with the Gripin (see last screenshot below). - F-39B Block 5 Aggressor has a cannon even though the two seater doesn’t have one.
