Beautiful work once again. I’m of the mindset that we can never have enough ships in game so your recent releases have been most welcome. Thank you. Any chance you might be interested in some early Soviet ships at some point? Torpedo boats , gun boats or frigates and destroyers would fill some gaps in the early Cold War . 😇

Hi all, Today we released V1.09 11th May 2021 1) Fixed an issue whereby the correct Backclip distance (haze) was not being set for some Quick Scenario weather types, resulting in graphical cloud glitches under certain conditions. 2) Implemented reduced Backclip distances (haze) for medium and variable dynamic weather. 3) Removed the Cloth Hall at Ypres after it was damaged. 4) Improved AI rotary blipping at low engine RPM. 5) Fixed a fatal mission creation error with escort flights if the escorting squadron was based at the same airfield as player. 6) Improved briefing text for when escorting squadron is based at same airfield as player. 7) Fixed an issue with a Nieuport 17 Lewis skin. Well if you ever need inspiration, just come on down to the Hood Aerodrome, Masterton New Zealand, where Peter Jackson keeps some of his collection. https://ww2aircraft.net/forum/threads/the-vintage-aviator-hangar-masterton-nz.46396/ They are even more impressive in the air during Wings over Wairarapa.

UPDATE: I finally have completed working on the campaign screen. It was interesting working on figuring out how to make a 'switch' working when selecting between "CREATE CAMPAIGN" and "LOAD CAMPAIGN". Here are screenshots: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Right now I am brainstorming on how to make dial switch work in OPTION screen. For now, at least I got .tga working, so I will have the working transparent background. If anyone has an idea on how I can make dial switch work, please share here. Let's see if I can conquer this new challenges.

shoot, all i'm thinking about is, what a nightmare trying to get a proper cockpit for that 111 is going to be ... the dashboard on those is on the ceiling, just above the pilot's eyeline. (re: watch "Battle of Britain", 1969) But that H model is needed soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo badly for WW2

@Jara, from what I've been able to test, your excellent MultiMod works fully with BH&H II - including the wind/turbulence settings. The only setting that does not honor user selection choice in it is the Orbyx fuel mod. - that one is always, automatically selected - maybe incorporated into BHII (?) and therefore always "on" in the MultiMod. Other settings work just fine. Thank you again for that excellent MultiMod JJJ. Also, I have a question regarding the MultiMod JJJ - again, this is merely theoretical - no need to pursue the idea if unmanageable - but would it be possible to implement FM mods. via the MultiMod? - in the sense that the Java code would enable, for example, one set of FM info., per aicraft, to be applied at once to all 11 xfm files that exist per aircraft - making the entire operation more efficient than updating everything via individual xfm file manually, and then packaging in JSGME. (This would allow for only the FM-relevant info. to be applied via the MultiMod, for example, so that FM-upgrades remain more future-proof, since sections that do change in the xfm files across WOFF updates, such as scrape points, etc., would not be impacted by the FM-via-MultiMod approach.) I look forward to your thoughts on this (which you are welcome to PM to me if you prefer not to post your response). Cheers all and happy flying, Von S

Thx Pol for mentioning it. Yes, It seems that multimod works with WOFF BH&H II well. At least the view and color settings . Cheers Jara4 aka JJJ64

Best with head tracking as the temp zoom in you set usually sticks within reason then. No we can't change that part currently. There's a general setting you can edit, viewui.xml in C:\Users\<YOUR LOGON NAME>\AppData\Roaming\OBD_Games\OBDWW1 Over Flanders Fields Edit 3rd line down should start <VirtualCockpitView FovScale="1.0" Change the 1.0 to something else, try 1.4 or whatever. Save. If you use notepad make sure it’s not saved as a “.txt” file. You would need to set “file type” in Notepad to *.* then add the .xml to the end of the file name (for example so it reads viewui.xml) before saving. I think JJJ's multi-mod had a FOV setting which does this (not sure if it needs updating for WOFF BH&H II) but that should would still work.

Suggestion: When B Flight is "in transit" back to base, please program an enroute descent so the formation arrives over our airfield at a nominal pattern altitude of 2000 feet (or 600 meters) rather than arriving at their patrol altitude. My observer is a bit of whinger, and he's tired of freezing his bollocks. He tells me that the nominal lapse rate is about 2C per thousand feet (1.5C saturated lapse rate and 3C dry lapse rate) so we would be much warmer and save 10 to 15 minutes getting to the bar. Think of it as a win-win.
