14 pointsSo after reading the pilots notes for the F.1, F.2A and F.6 and looking at gunsight camera pictures it turns out the gun sights and event markers are all based off the Lightning F.53 So here they are corrected: F.1, F.1A, F.2, F.2A fitted with 'Pilot Attack Sight" F.3 fitted with 'Light Fighter Sight Type 2 Mk. 2 F.6 fitted with 'Light Fighter Sight Type 2 Mk. 3 F.6 fitted with 'Light Fighter Sight Type 2 Mk. 3 and later service 'event markers'.

9 pointsAfter more than a year from its first release, the much appreciated realSKY mod has received a major update. This is a glimpse of what to expect; Added different cloud textures for each weather type. Rebalanced sky colours; twilights have been reworked to be more dramatic and atmospheric, whilst keeping realism as the main aim. Here below, screenshots taken during Scattered weather (plus two suggestive shots with Broken weather). Notice the different cloud texture between the two, and the complete twilight transition. Following a suggestion by baffmeister, the realSKY mod will now include alternative files which provide different weather effects for Inclement; you can choose between thunderstorm (default), sandstorm (for hot, desert terrains) and snowstorm (for cold, icy terrains). Reworked rain effects; lightnings are now rare, added new rain drops as a camera view effect. Added alternative environment files for snowstorm and sandstorm effects. Screenshots show the new effects (especially the ones that look best when the camera is fixed). Sandstorm weather features darker, brownish fog. Snowstorm features a brighter fog than thunderstorm. Suggested by tiopilotos, the mod now will feature additional tweaks for some stock game effects, namely contrails, wingtip vortexes and exhaust emitters. Added better contrail effect (thanks to EMCON360 for an old comment on the subject). Added improved wingtip vortex effect (credits to Eagle114th). Added new exhaust emitter effects (credits to viper63a and NeverEnough). Contrails are no longer flat; they are volumetric and expand as much as possible, within the limitations of the game engine. Wingtip vortexes are brighter, more varied and longer. Those effects now use their own textures, instead of using the same texture for different purposes as in the stock SF2 game.

4 pointsSit rep: The tiles of small rivers are dark now. This job has done and i'm satisfied with it. London tiling is also finished so far. Perhaps here and there some small things to do. Now i'm going down the river Themse and i have made 2 new tiles for Tilbury docks and the near Fort Tilbury. Making tiles from black and white ´photos is not as easy as thought. (As usually) The colors does not fit. Not yet. Give me 2 weeks or so. ;-)

4 pointsDo not get me wrong. I am aware of read_me. But still, i did a shitload of work to convert stary's tiles to your terrain. including adding more than 60 new tiles. few things are not finished (and perhaps never will be..but for home use, this terrain now is quite a prefect)

It was used mainly by US NAVY Mine countermeasure units. At the end, of service time RH-53D were passed to USMC reserve units, where served as transport/heavy lift helicopters. Some were still used during Desert Shield/Storm operations in 1991. Finally, RH-53D was written off from units in 1996. 12 aircrafts were also ordered by Imperial Iranian Navy. Only six delivered before the revolution. Add then all six remained in the newly formed Islamic Republic of Iran Navy Aviation. CHANGES: I highly recommend to overwrite previous files decals/weapons/guns- or best is delete the old one and put new files. YOU NEED TO DELETE OLD AIRCRAFT FOLDERS RH-53D_70. Many things were changed and as tested Overwriting may cause some problems...So delete old ones put new ones. The rest (except Aircraft folders) are same can be overwritten without fear... Small changes in ini files, corrections on fuel loadout, changes in cockpit ini. Small changes in skins. Also No longer fake weapon "no gun" is needed - thanks to The Trooper. He pointed small fix in data.ini. Added simple bump and specular maps. Also added damage tgas. Some changes and rearrangement in a cockpit ******************IMPORTANT****************** FakePilot mod neede to run this mod. As always with my mods. This addon works with my CargoPACK (included in rar file). All of the weapon stations are made as specific station code and will work only with this cargo pack. Of course, you can edit and use any other weapons available. Standard commands: LANDING GEAR - Nose light deploys/retract at any speed. ANIMATION 1 - right side door. ANIMATION 2 - left hatch cabin windows ANIMATION 3 - wipers outside/inside ANIMATION 4 - Refueling probe - H key (hook by default) will change seat position to see a tip of the IFR probe. ANIMATION 10 - Winch Parking animations. Two parking animations included one for 'on land base' and other for 'on board' parking. You can fold tail and rotor by enabling animation in data.ini file. But it looks silly. And my intention for this animation was eye candy on board vessel. With little practice, you can even hoover. Without fake flaps and airbrakes. Important here to control is using rudder and vector thrust control. With heavy cargo load probably you need little run on A model as engines on A are little underpowered. Normally throttle vector control on 88-89 degree increase power 70% then slowly more and more, wait and it will take off. Cockpits. Newly upgraded cockpit based on NATOPS manual. Mirrors working now and showing correct image. Fuel usage is not super perfect but compared to all previous H-53 models released here fuel gauges are working. Skins. All serial numbers are based on available photos, NAVY and USMC documents and are historically correct. Weapons. The only "offensive" weapon is left/right side gunner. Well, I'm straffing convoys with it with great success. Important - if there is no gunner - fake weapon (no gun/empty) must be loaded. For now, it must be this way. Same as default should be loaded Mk103 minesweep. This is allowing top cargobays to be seen. This addon works with my CargoPACK (included in rar file). All of weapon stations are made as specific station code and will work only with this cargo pack. Of course, you can edit and use any other weapons available. Here is experimental Mk105 minesweeper sled different than in previous CH-53D pack. This one is only for RH-53D. To see Mk105 open cargo bay. Also, you can add refueling probe. At the beginning of service, this aircraft has only provisions for refueling probe. Cargo loads. I am releasing this cargo load in current condition. So maybe some skins needs to be adjusted. Cargo loads includes few cargo crates for cargo bay and hook, howitzer, MUTTs. Skins for MUTTS - Thank yo The Trooper. IMPORTANT - Due to the construction of this mod it is better to use collision and landing on NORMAL setting. On hard, you may have some complications on airfield - especially with underslung cargo load. Skins. All serial numbers, as far as I know, are based on photos and US Army docs and are historically correct. US Navy - HMH-12 'Sea Dragons' 1977 - HMH-16 'Seahawks' 1979 - HMH-14 'Vanguard' 1981 - HMH-18 'Norsemen' 1987 - VR-24 World's Biggest Little Airline, Helos on COD duties. USMC - special for use in Desert Storm mod if needed: - HMH-772 Det.A Pilots - best to use is OldDiego's pilots. As bonus there is Eagle Claw folder -easy to find. Inside - skins for sand repainted RH-53D - also replacement file for lod and deta.ini file - this wil make EAPS dissapear. So backup original lod and data file before using Eagle Claw mod. 1 pointFuelFlow is usually calculated from what is used up in one hour, divided by 3600 (as 60min*60sec) so lets say the bird at max rate could drink 5000lbs in an hour, so 5000/3600=1.388 Engines with afterburners could have lot higher values depend on the scale of the dial. F-105 uses 6.667 as last entry (dial value 24000 as last) and the F-15 uses 27.78 (dial value 100000)

His will is extraordinary. He's done so much for his community and nation at a ripe old age. His service during WW2 was not enough in his eyes. He pushed himself to new limits, and proved to the world that the elder are an important part of our communities. I admire him so much, as much as I despise those who believe that losing an entire generation of elders due to coronavirus is acceptable losses. People like him devoted their lives to give us a better world, free from the chains of brutal nazi fascism. They deserve better respect from all of us. They also constitute a memory we must never forget, of the darkest days of Europe. And how from that darkness, their courage and service brought a beacon of light to show us the way. Happy birthday, Colonel!

F/A-18B/D Package. This package is beta and to be honest we are all sick of looking at it. So here is the deal. You find something wrong and the community agrees, send it to me and I will keep the package updated. We just need fresh eyes on it. There is a new pit by Brain32 that is amazing. The Hornet Team: Original Model by BPAO and the Mirage Factory, updated by FastCargo. New pit by Brain32 with Crusader, Brain and CB34 doing the avionics. Skins by Siddog, Sundowner and EricJ. Crash test Dummy: Caeser Pilots: by Diego Seats: Julhelm and Ravenclaw Weapons by Ravenclaw, wpnssgt and others. Loadouts and variant shred out by CrazyhorseB34 who put a lot of effort into researching this part of the package. Its highly recommended you use the loads he made or you will have problems. Menu Screen Templates for SF2 series 5/20/10 This is a pack of Photoshop PSDs for the following menu screens: Debrief Loadout MedelList Options PilotRecords PlanningMap Roster SingleMission The Hangar Screen will be released seperatly, as that needs a more intensive readme, with full instructions for 'how to..', in particular on editing screenshots for use. They are multi-layered, with redrawn seperator lines, 'blackboards' for the displayed text, and new backgrounds. The background included herein a more of a 'generic' type, of various sky scenes. All the 'hot spots' for the mouse remain in the stock positions. They are the standard size of 1024x768, as used by 3rd Wire. Although in PSD format for Photoshop, they should be usable in any other program that can open and work PSDs. As always, read the readme for full instruction, and details for use. Happy Landings!
