2 pointsHello everyone, I finally am able to finish working on this project. I owe big thanks to both Wrench and Menrva for the big helps. Because of them, I am able to solve the problems tweaking ordinances in SF2. Here are screenshots:

2 pointsView File SF2 Westland Whirlwind HAR Upgrade Pack SF2 Westland Whirlwind HAR Upgrade Pack 4/19/2021 -For SF2 =ONLY= (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended) **NOTE: this is for the British built versions -0NLY-!!** This is major upgrade of the Westland Whirlwind (piston powered) as released by Strahi. Please be advised, if you have the original download, you will unfortunately have to delete it from your mods folder(s). THIS version is highly modified, with many additional items. If left as "drag & drop" over the original, there will be conflicts that might be unresolvable. Thus, the need for complete removal of the original. This has been approved by Strahi, to whom I extend great thanks!! The following services/units are covered. The first listing is the name of the skin folder itself. The rest is the description you will see on the skin selection dropdown on the Loadout Screen: Royal Air Force: RAF1 - No.22 Sqdn, 55-62, overall yellow RAF2 - No.28 Sqdn, ?? date, Eurocamo* RAF3 - No.110 Sqdn, 1954, Kuala Lampur* JHU - Joint Helicopter Unit, HMS Ocean, Suez, 1956 Royal Navy: RN - 848 NAS, DGNB overall, early 50s RN2 - Ship's Flight, HMS Protector, 55-65, Antarctic Patrol RN3 - 848 NAS, HMS Bulwark, 1960s RN4 - 781 NAS, RNAS Yeovilton (Green Parrot) Suez - 848 NAS, HMS Albion, Suez 56 JRV: YU - Soko Whirlwind, Yugoslavian Air Force, 1961 *= be advised, these units MAY have had the later, turbine power marks. It's also possible some of those listed above, while still having serving piston-powered Whirlwinds, would have also recieved turbine power aircraft. The SF2 'date switch' is =NOT= used on any of the skins. I felt it would cause too many issues and confusions. Many painted on insignia and service markings remain as such. This is due to the minimal amount of meshes used to build the aircraft. All new serial number decals have been made for all included versions (up to 26 each). As is to be expected, while all are correct for the aircraft & services depicted, they are 'generic' in nature. When a unit's or service's serials HAVE been found, you'll see the star (*) in the number list dropdown. Decal randomization is TRUE. When possible, the RAF & RN squadron badges are used at the "patch" for viewing on the Loadout Screen On the aircraft selection drop down list, you'll see: Whirlwind HAR/HC (st) The (st) is for Strahi, and will diferentiate this Whirlwind for any others that may or may not exist. As is always recommended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. PLEASE read them, before installing!!! Happy Landings! Wrench Kevin Stein EDIT: added missing Decals folders!! Sorry people!! Submitter Wrench Submitted 04/22/2021 Category Other

1 pointIn all honesty, it's even worse, this one is on the WHO. Here in Italy we're in the middle of a scandal, it seems there's corruption among some WHO officials. Our pandemic plan hadn't been updated since 2006, despite there had been other epidemics in later years (H1N1 and MERS to name a few). I remember when the WHO (Tedros Ghebreyesus) said it was all fine back in Autumn 2019, that China kept the epidemic under control. Not even two months later, we saw the truth ourselves. The Chinese do have their responsibilities for what happened, then I look at Brazil and I don't think the West can consider itself 100% clean, the situation was even worsened. Had this started in Brazil or in another country with lunatics in power, we'd find ourselves in this sh*t anyway.

1 pointWell, would you want to take off in that weather? The AI in BHaH2 is so smart that it knows it is useless to fly in pea-soup!

1 pointwhile making custom names for aircrafts is interesting (I am using this kind of sorting for at least 8 years now) not that I can not find aircraft I want to fly...It is just for having order in that damn list.. then making those weapon rename list seems to be futile...in case a new weapon will pop up...any time, your list will be old. Plus as Menrva said there are many copies of weapons added by many modders. It is a minefield. I use my 'naming way' for weapons also but in that case, I am trying to be short as possible Mk.82 500 lb Bomb....for me it is just 'Mk82. 500lb'.. it is obvious it is a bomb. I do not add Anti Radiation MIssile or Laser Guided BOmb to weapon name...it is too long in loadout menu.... at your list you have.... (SAM) "SA-N-3 Goblet" (RC / SARH) (M-SAM) "SA-8 Gecko Mod 0" (CLOS) those weapons are not displayed in the loadout list so skip it...they are used by ground/sea units. Just my 3 cents. But..enjoy game, keep playing ...then for sure you will move to other sorts of modding. Everyone started somewhere...Good that you like to work around the game environment also.
-
1 pointThank you very much! :) Since I do this as hobby, it doesn't feel like a work for me. Hence, I enjoy doing this. Plus, as I rename each weapon, I google and learned a lot about them too. hence, it is a win-win situation.
-
1 pointi like it but you are setting yourself up for a massive amount of work, given how many weapons mods there are out there still interested to see how far you carry this.
-
1 pointno idea , just delete the existing LAU-10C pods from your weapons folder and install the new ones that i posted above , that should solve your problem

1 pointYes, I asked the tech who administered my shot, what superpowers I could expect when the nanites really got going. I wasn't sure it the power are preprogrammed, or if they're random. She couldn't answer, as she was telepathicly communicating to our Alien Overlords (tm) no, seriously, she thought it was one of the funniest requests she'd ever had! We spent time discussing which power we'd actually like. I had a great experience, everyone was kind, and polite, even standing in line for 40-odd minutes. It went pretty fast.

1 pointDassault Aviation Mirage IIICX - 3 Staffel, Austrian Air Force, 1999 By the late 1970's it was clear that Austria's small force of sub-sonic Saab 105's were completely inadequate to defend Austrian airspace with reports suggesting that the Saab 105's even struggled to intercept stray business jets. In 1980 the Austrian Air Force announced a formal requirement for 30 modern fighter aircraft to replace the Saab 105's in the interception role from about 1985 onwards and allow the Saab 105's to remain in service as advanced training aircraft with a secondary surveillance role. In response, British Aerospace offered ex-Saudi Air Force Lightning F.Mk53's but the Austrian Air Force immediately rejected this offer due to the poor condition of the airframes and the Lightning's notoriously high maintenance costs. Saab offered Austria reconditioned J 35D Draken fighters and this appeared to be the front runner during 1981 but to everyone's surprise the contract for Austria's new fighter aircraft was awarded to Dassault Aviation for 30 refurbished ex-Armée de l'Air Mirage IIIC aircraft as the Mirage IIICX powered by the uprated SNECMA Atar 09K-50 engine developing 15,900lbs thrust in reheat. Entering service with 3 Staffel in April 1986 the Mirage IIICX's served the Austrian Air Force well and were eventually replaced by ex-Armée de l'Air Mirage 2000's during 2006-2008. 1 pointAn excellent idea RJW - and also I include a couple of links below, for the convenience of WOFFers, to mods-related threads that are already under the technical section of these various threads and sub-threads. Perhaps there is a way of consolidating all of the mods-related threads, or at least to have one of the threads stickied, which then points to all of the other mod-threads and links. 1 pointThe VF-14 is done. BUt I need to find where the tail RWR blister is on the skin maps, as actually block the red stripe But I discovered myself prey of the demon and started redo the skin of the various VFs of my mods; in fact despite great very few skins in the TMF F-14 Superpack is historically correct ( and this is more than logic, as the modders can't manage the single units's change of markings),and actually I started modify four Squadron. The real problem are the Nimitz 1986 F-14s. Both the suadron had the CO and XO planes as the color birds, but in the overall light gull grey and the line ones in TPS , and this made the work more hard, 'cause AFAIK the game engine cannot manage in a unit the change of skin but only the decals during a precise timeframe, and if for the VF-41 the problem is more acceptable as anyway the TPS is a overall grey, the VF-84 had the three tone grey TPS... Oh well,I need some compromise!

1 pointAn-2 colts? The An-2 was adopted in bulk by both the Soviet Air Force and other Eastern Bloc military forces. It was first used in a military context during the Korean War of the early 1950s.[citation needed] The Vietnam People's Air Force (VPAF) was another prolific user of the AN-2; during the Vietnam War, the service occasionally used the type as an attack aircraft. During the 1960s, a single An-2 that was attempting to engage South Vietnamese navahttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antonov_An-2l units was shot down by a United States Air Force McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II fighter, under the control of an Air Intercept Controller on the USS Long Beach.[4] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antonov_An-2

1 pointOn Friday morning, 19 July 1957, a USAF F-89J serial number 53-2547 under Project Plumbbob, launched a Genie MB-1 unguided rocket at an altitude 18500 feet over NTS Area 10. After reaching Mach 3 and traveling 4250 meters in 4.5 seconds its W-25 warhead was detonated by a signal from a ground station. The resulting explosive yield was 1.7 kilotons. MB-1 named Shot John was the first and only fired live, nuclear-armed, air to air anti-aircraft missile. real photo. Photo courtesy of National Nuclear Security Administration/Nevada Field Office.
