10 pointsBusy day at Ataturk Airport as the summer holiday season gets underway... (I needed a short break from combat missions without re-installing installing FSX) Do we have any other civilian airports with terminals/gates on any of the other terrains?

3 pointsFor years now I've been using Maxon Cinema4D, don't be confused by the name it has capabilities to paint in 2d and 3d , works with layers and will save your results as .psd, jpeg etc. I only use it on heavily distorted meshes or to line up the panel lines/camo where I don't have the original max files at hand but you can import photoshop brushes into the programme which make using your custom brushes a bonus. Iv'e really only ever scratched the surface on what it can do though. Other than that I'm stuck in the 20th century with the old panel finder and Mues lod viewer...

Mirage F-1CG Late. This mod is dedicated to BPAO, nothing would have been possible without him. Greece operated 40 Dassault Mirage F1CG single seat aircraft. F1CG was first ordered in 1974 and entered service with the Hellenic Air Force in 1975. The aircraft were used by 334 Squadron and 342 Squadron. Mirage F1CG was armed with the Sidewinder AIM-9P missile, rather than the most commonly used Matra Magic II, and it could carry four AIM-9Ps, rather than just two. Upgraded version from 1984 with MK6 ejection seat, RWR and additional wings missile pylons. Covered unit : 334 MIRA 342 MIRA v 2.4 Changelog : - New 3D model. - Improved skins - New Cockpit. - New pilot. - New seat. - Reworked ini files. A big thank to all on Combatace and C6 forums that helped us solving issues we encountered. Any omission in credits is totally unwanted, if I forgot somebody, let me know, I will correct this. This addon is and will in all cases remain freeware. Released under CombatAce Fair-Use terms. Enjoy The Mirage F.1 Team -
2 pointschecking the game's user list should always be the 1st option (most of the time, they're actually pretty close!) straight from the M3C userlist ini: [France] ServiceStartYear=1961 ServiceEndYear=1988 Availability=RARE I can't believe RARE is correct!!!

2 pointsCheck Mirage IIIC and Mirage IIIB..... "A total of 95 Mirage IIICs were obtained by the French Air Force (Armée de l'Air, AdA), with initial operational deliveries in July 1961.[21] The Mirage IIIC remained in service with the AdA until 1988."

2 pointsNice one Trooper. I've seen bits of it before in WOFF I think. But one can never have enough original clips of WW1 can one? The DII is a magnificent beast. Some say the peak of Albatros design, after which the sesquiplane configuration produced it's own problems. I like the three chaps having a smoke and a laugh. Probably about Fraulein Helga and her boudoir tricks. Remembering of course, that in those days you were allowed to smoke and laugh at the same time.

1 pointFuel tank in russian language is "toplivnij bak". The TB in PTB-450 could stand for it. But i have no idea for what the P is standing.
-
1 pointThe first versions of the Mi-24 could be equipped with internal auxilary tanks with 825 litres each. It were simply two barrels with fuel which were placed in the cargo bay. From version Mi-24P and V the heli could carry 4 external fuel tanks under the hardpoints of the stubwings each tank contains 425 litres. The external fuel tanks were used for ferry missions only. During combat missions no external fuel tank was used. The type designation of the fuel tank i cant found. But along with soviet terminolgy i wuld call them 425 Liter exterlan fuel tank for Mi-24. (BTW the same tanks are used on Mi-28.)

1 pointI wonder if it could have been part of the Iran-Contra affair, after all Iran still received American equipment such as MIM-23 Hawk launchers back then.

1 pointIt was actually with the C-295, since they stopped using CN-235s for paradrops before i got in and these were put to work with not-living cargo only, but yes, more or less. I was so happy with the C-130, and then "Hey, look, T.21s (C-295) are so comfortable, and jumping from the ramp is so much better than jumping from the side door" No issues with the boundary layer dragging your teeth across the fuselage. I had a watch with air superiority grey paint scratched from a C-130, so it was a legitimate concern. Well, screw ramps. The issue is i got scared shitless /air sick/ freaked out jumping from the ramp, even if i was perfectly OK hanging out in the side door waiting for the green light in a C-130. With the ramp, i would always flinch, then slip, fall on my ass, have my MG bouncing against my head, smash knees and elbows on the floor, or any combination of the former. Everyone else was cool, and they were better for the specific job in most senses than C-130, they could drop the sticks tighter, less incidents, more comfort, stability, you name it...it was just that i hated it.

1 point@Geary Just to check, you are putting things into the mods folder at "C:\Users\"UserName"\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2" and not the main folder at "C:\Program Files (x86)\ThirdWire\Strike Fighters 2" correct? I have attached my effects folder with an adjusted MissileObject.ini file. Backup your effects folder and give mine a try. My Effects folder.7z Also, I have attached some smoke rockets for you to test. Smoke Rockets.7z
