The original DRV was overshadowed by the release of Wings Over Vietnam. Prior to that happening, that was the only map I was using with SFP1. This post brought back so many great memories of creating historical missions while flying the free F-105D Thunderchief and A-1H Skyraider mods. I wish TK would have adapted the SF2 series to Windows 10 with full VR support, but he never even finished/released the promised Windows 10 compatibility version. Fortunately for me, DCS is close to matching everything I loved about the SF series while providing excellent implementations of the features most requested but never added to SF2.2 points

Hi, simonmiller416, Thank you for sharing this excellent mod. I would like to ask whether it would be possible in a future update of the J-10C/CE to separate the middle pylon under each wing into 2 meshes, a parent mesh with just the pylon and the missile launch rail as a "child" mesh attached to the pylon. This would allow us to load different types of weapons properly. For example a bomb or a rocket pod do not require the missile launch rail. The same goes for the option when dual missile rails are loaded on the pylon. I have no experience with 3d modelling, so I could not tell whether that would be hard or easy to do. I apologize if my suggestion (it is not a request, just a suggestion) is inappropriate. Best Regards, Svetlin1 point

Before asking, ski jump does not work in this game, your J-15s will just fly across the deck before taking off; Regarding the J-15T/15D/15TD, I currently have some doubts about where the model from(even I've made some pretty big changes), so I will not release them for the time being until I can confirm it 100%.1 point

I don't want to clog up the comments section of franconinja14's file so will just say this...the purpose of the subscriptions is to assist the site owner in covering the very large running costs (hosting, traffic etc.) that come with providing such a large library of downloads and discussion forums. They have done this single-handedly for many, many years at great personal expense (with some donations along the way) without making any profit, but since the site grows in traffic every year, that has become too much for one person to shoulder the burden of. Considering the price of entry of any TW gen 2 sim has always been at least $40 (it's never been a 'cheap' sim), the cost of a one month subscription every now and again is a bargain to take the game to the next level, especially with quality of the mods. For me, it is more than worth it and brings me a lot of joy knowing it adds to helping keep the lights on at CombatACE.1 point

If you want to stick with the few historically numbers but want to avoid aircraft without a number at the same time, try this line in the textureset.ini DecalNumberRepeat=1 (or "TRUE" - dont know what works) this "should" make the game use the 3 available numbers multiple times for the whole flight. Numbers are used twice, but there should be no numberless aircraft... Worth a try :)1 point
