12 pointsThanks mate. Let's see if these directions are right... Across the strait and follow the road.... Hmmm, seem to have run out of road... Maybe I'll follow the river instead... Found the target. For me, and I'm sure for some of you of a certain age, the Matra rocket attack is a classic Hawk image.. And home for tea and crumpets...

6 pointsWell since some of us are into RAF action, let's play "Red Storm Rising: The GR.1 Tornado Strikes Back, 1990 Edition".... Of course, some Fitters have to come play and try to get at the friendly advancing Leopard tanks... and the results aren't so good. For the Fitters, that is. \ The Fitters still stuck around, probably thinking I wouldn't yank out my Aden cannon. But I certainly did... BBBYYYEEE

= For SF2, Any/All (Full 5 Merged RECCOMENDED!) = This is the release of Marcfighters Atlas Impala Mk.2, single seat COIN/Attack jet as used by the South African Air Force. This aircraft has/had languished for a considerable amount of time in that "hangar of forgotten & unfinished mods". I hope that this will correct that. This mod represents the Atlas Impala MK2, single seat attack jets. The mod uses all stock 3W weapons (which may need further research/adjustments). 25 all new historically correct SAAF serial number decals are included, and Randomization is TRUE These decals are used for both included skins. This is the SAAF -ONLY-, non exported version. No user list was created; the aircraft is single nation only. There are 2 skins, and "Early" and "Late"; the late uses the SF2-date switch and starts in 1982 When in-game, you'll see Atlas Impala MK.II (MB-326K SAAF) on the aircraft drop down selection panel. As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. The Uploader takes NO credit for the aircraft itself, only for those edits and adjustment to get it more in compliance with the SF2 Environment (tm). See "Notes" section for full change log and other VERy important statements. = Please Note: is models is released "AS IS". Anything that cannot be corrected/adjusted via ini edits will remain so for all time = Happy Landings! Wrench Kevin Stein ** Important Note: if you install this to the Angola Mod, be advised that there exists an aircraft named Impala Mk.II. This should NOT conflict with it, but you may have some editing to do, as theirs is labeled "Stand In". It is not advised to just drop this one into that mod without further editing. ** UPDATED: 3/7/2019 "Early" skin has been repainted to remove national markings. All have now been replaced with decals. sf2_atlas_impala-mk2_v2_pack.7z -

The Fletcher class was a class of destroyers built by the United States during World War II. The class was designed in 1939, as a result of dissatisfaction with the earlier destroyer leader types of the Porter and Somers classes. Some went on to serve during the Korean War and into the Vietnam War. The United States Navy commissioned 175 Fletcher-class destroyers between 1942 and 1944. After World War II ended, 11 were sold to countries that they had been built to fight against: Italy, Germany, and Japan, as well as other countries, where they had even longer, distinguished careers. 1 pointYou don't have to remake the whole thing. Probably it is easier to use Armourdave's F-105D templates and modify them. The images below show the F-105G lod with my unfinished F-105D wrap-around textures. The wings, horizontal stabs, as well as the front and rear fuselage are the same as on the G. The middle part of the fuselage and a few bits on the vertical stab need some work. Compare the available skins and use Mue's lod viewer, you'll see the differences.

1 pointor make one of your own based on the Skins you have , it is not such a big deal but it takes time

1 pointSabre1BR, I like the idea of extending the life of the F-015G. Possibly sold/given to other countries after use in Vietnam. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a template for this plane here. Possibly someone made one of their own or has an original from years back stashed somewhere in their computer. You can of course make your own template if this idea means that much to you. You will need an art program like Photoshop, Paintshop Pro, Gimp, etc... Good luck.

1 pointAlways liked the damage modelling in this one, especially with several dozen mods added to tweak it further for more robustness to the aircraft, the "gavagai" mods in particular work well. Bit of a mishap during a balloon attack in the pic. below, but the pilot was mostly okay. Von S

Lockheed F-104C 'Getti Tonanti' for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2 This is a very simple mod of the stock Third Wire F-104C to create a fictional F-104C of the famous 'Getti Tonanti' aerobatic display team of the Aeronautica Militare who performed at the opening ceremony of the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome. The real 'Getti Tontanti' flew F-84F's in 1960 so this is just my interpretation of how the Starfighter might have looked with those distinctive Olympic Rings coloured tails. If you haven't got the F-104C then I'm sure you can hack it to fit the F-104G by changing the skin bitmap names, etc. BACKSTORY Entering service in February 1958 with the 83rd Fighter Interceptor Squadron at Hamilton AFB, California the F-104A interceptor served only briefly with the USAF Air Defense Command but this was soon followed by the multi-role F-104C which entered service with USAF Tactical Air Command in September 1958 when the 479th Tactical Fighter Wing at George AFB, California began to re-equip with the type. Despite setting a new world altitude record of 103,395 ft (31,515 m) just a few months later in December 1958 the USAF sharply reduced their orders for the F-104 leading Lockheed to urgently seek export orders and they soon gained an export order from the Italian Government in January 1960 for 40 F-104C's for the Aeronautica Militare. With Italy hosting the Olympic Games in the late summer of 1960, the Italian President Giovanni Gronchi personally asked the US President Dwight D. Eisenhower for the earliest possible delivery date as he wanted to use the F-104C's as part of the opening ceremony. Not only did 'Ike' graciously agree but he also authorised the immediate transfer of 10 F-104C's from USAF stocks which were airlifted to Europe during February and March being reassembled at Ramstein Air Base before being flown to Villafranca Air Base by USAF pilots and officially handed over to the 5th Aerobrigata of the Aeronautica Militare. The F-104C's replaced the F-84F Thunderstreaks of the 'Getti Tonanti' aerobatic display team and this elite unit performed a sensational display at both the opening and closing ceremonies of the Games of the XVII Olympiad held in Rome from August 25th to September 11th, 1960. INSTRUCTIONS 1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the F-104Cgt folder into your Aircraft folder. 2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the F-104Cgt folder into your main Decals folder. That's it! BTW the mission editor can be used to select all 6 aircraft leaving you to get some formation screenshots taken! CREDITS Thanks to Third Wire for a great little game/sim. And thanks to everyone in the wider Third Wire community. Regards Spinners Version 1 - 05/03/19 -

The 18 Forrest Sherman-class destroyers were the first US post-war destroyers (DD-927 to DD-930 were completed as destroyer leader configurations). Commissioned beginning in 1955, these ships served until the late 1980s. Their weaponry underwent considerable modification during their years of service. Four were converted to guided missile destroyers. This class also served as the basis for the Charles F. Adams-class guided missile destroyer. Two ships of the class have become museum ships, nine have been sunk in training exercises, and the others have been scrapped or are scheduled to be scrapped. CREDITS: - this is a SFP1 YAP ship, ported to SFP2 due Piecemeal interest (thank you mate!) so you need YAP (*) to run tihis mod, all credits to Yankee Air Pirate! INSTALL: (sorry some work to do) - extract the zip - take TurnerJoy.LOD in GroundObject/ForrestSherman folder from your Yap WoV install - make a copy calling it TurnerJoyColl.LOD - put them inside GroundObject/ForrestSherman extracted folder - put all in your main mod folder Enjoy! @paulopanz -

1 pointYou don't need to be able to mod FE or FE2 to be able to fly several times the number of planes in OFF or WoFF (and in different theatres, not just the Western Front). Just how to install other people's mods :) The drill is different between FE and FE2 but second nature after doing it once or twice, just get a mod with a decent readme covering installation. Gets a bit more complicated only if you need to install an FE mod in FE2 or vice-versa, but nothing more complicated than moving files in Windows Explorer or editing an file in Wordpad. The benefits of making the effort to learn the drill speak for themselves... IIRC, in FE or FE2, Alt+N 'warps' you to the waypoint before your target area (which waypoint you can drag about in the briefing map, to give you a longer run-in if you wish).
