After World War I, Spain purchased several surplus Airco DH.9's from Britain. In the 1920's a Spanish version was built, under license, by the Hispano-Suiza Company. The Spanish DH.9 was fitted with a 300hp Hispano-Suiza 8 cylinder engine. About 500 were produced during the 20's and at least 25 were still in service when the civil war started in 1936. The Hispano-Suiza DH.9 was used by both sides during the war and some remained in service until the end of the war in 1939. I have made two versions, one for each side, with appropriate skins, decals, and loadouts. My skinning templates are included. Each version has two bomb loadouts, one with eight 25kg bombs mounted under the wings, and one with two 100kg bombs carried under the fuselage. One of the bombs was included with the Polikarpov I-15. Two of them were included in Geezer's 1930's bomb pack. I have included all the necessary bombs with this download, but you may not need to install all of them. I have included instructions for installing the bombs in a separate text file. Credits Thanks to Ojcar for making the original data file for the DH.9. I have made slight modifications for the Spanish Civil War versions. Thanks to Geezer for making the two Italian bombs as part of his 1930's Bomb Pack for First Eagles. I have included them in this download in case you don't already have them. Installation Instructions For FE1 - Unzip the file. Move the folders named "NatDH9" and "RepDH9" into your FirstEagles/Objects/Aircraft folder. You will need to install some or all of the bombs. See the Instructions For Installing Bombs, included with this download. For FE2 - Unzip the file. Move the folders named "NatDH9" and "RepDH9" into your FirstEagles/Objects/Aircraft folder. Then in the FirstEagles/Objects/Decals folder, create two new folders named "NatDH9" and "RepDH9". Move the folder named "D" from your Aircraft/DH9 folders into the appropriate Decals/DH9 folders you just made. You will need to install some or all of the bombs. See the Instructions For Installing Bombs, included with this download. -

5 pointsToday I posted the Spanish version of the DH.9 in the First Eagles, Golden Era download section. During the 1920's Hispano-Suiza made about 500 DH.9's for the Spanish Air Force. About 25 were still in service when the Spanish Civil War started in 1936 and were used by both the Republican and Nationalist forces. I made two versions, one for each side, with appropriate skins, decals, and bomb loadouts. Bombs and skinning templates are included with the download. Installation instructions for both FE1 and FE2 are included.

3 pointsAfter some evaluation and thinking I took the decision to release two versions , for each SF series, a cold era version of the plane. The cold era version will load out conventional bombs. The post cold war era version will use the conventional tipped rockets/bombs for SF-1 and rockets, bombs, cruise missiles for SF-2. The motivation behind this decision is to deliver believable, solid FM (it takes time to tweak and test it) and , also, for the post cold era SF-2 version we need more time to test and tweak the cruise missiles settings etc. I know you all wait for the release and I hope I won't disappoint you for taking a little longer time than I thought, just to offer you a quality product, exactly as you all expected. I expect to release the cold era version in 2-3 weeks and the post cold era version in 2-3 months.Thank you.

3 pointsThere's a kind of magic to dogfights in FE2 that I think (still) make it one of the best WW1 flight sims out there. Some pics. below, enjoying early war scenarios with ver. 3 of Stephen's Galicia terrain (and ver. 9.7 of my FM pack for FE2). Happy flying, Von S

(Excerpt from README file) This mission pack is designed to coincide with / complement Eburger68’s North Cape campaign. It is essentially the same scenario as the ‘Fighting Withdrawal’ campaign, told a slightly different way, with a twist and a new pack of single player missions designed to have some ‘story continuity’ to them. Part I is an eight-mission pack in which you are assigned to VF-84 as an F-14A (82) pilot in Carrier Air Wing EIGHT, in September of 1986. When the war begins and the Nimitz battle group begins its fighting withdrawal, you are going to have your hands full fighting off hordes of Soviet bombers and aiding your Norwegian allies every way you can. Part II is a ten-mission pack in which you are assigned to VA-86 as an A-7E pilot in Carrier Air Wing EIGHT. When the war begins and the Nimitz battle group begins its fighting withdrawal, the two A-7E squadrons are detached temporarily to land bases in Norway to press the fight against the Soviet invaders in the north. Two of the missions are transits, with eight combat missions in between. Disclaimer: the weather in these missions isn't nearly as good as in the screenshots. ;) -

1 pointWhat would an addon be without the right atmospheric buildings to get you properly in the mood of things, only 1/2 as good right? So as in all my addons new cities are build trying to capture that atmosphere. In this light a new colorfull MedTer building set is under devellopment and this is a first try of the first city model out of 5 or 6 or so. A new model with appropiate R/S and just a start to use every polygon and node 3D models will allow. These objects are a real pita to build when done right, but this isn't my first try. Ofcourse the texture is what makes or breaks the model, and a lot of time is spend on gathering the right (copyright free) pictures and mold them for use in the game, or if necessary construct it from my parts and buildings database, which is growing fast. I'm sorry for the low quality picture and distortions to prevent unauthorised use of my drawings, I hope there's sufficient left for an impression of what's to come This is the first finished MedTer city block out of 6 to come. These proofed to be a little more problematic then I thought but it got there in the end. In total I spend 100 hours on this creation, including gathering textures, and it's still not finished yet. The toughest part, getting the rendering sequence to work is done but now the detailing starts. VonBeerhofen

1 pointNeither the 22 or the 23 is as pig ugly as the F-35, hate the damn thing. But, oh those Russians !! They can make a pretty aeroplane for sure, Sukhoi in particular . The Flanker was sexy as hell, but this is just as gorgeous .

1 pointI think I'll take the lazy approach next week. One shot of an F-4 shooting down a MiG-23/27 - that works for MiG Monday, Two-Seater Tuesdays, and Phantom Phriday, and Swing Wing Saturday.

1 pointIf you read Erik's reply carefully he gives you the way you can have limitless pictures uploaded... From there you can link them to the topics you want to include them. So instead of going multiple rounds what and how should be changed, etc, use the data people give you to solve issues, its right there just have to read it, understand it and apply it.....

1 pointThx for posting the photos. It's embarrassing I can't do it myself because of that hitch of the website. We'll see about future projects. It all depends how people will react to this very first project. If it will be a hit then there are chances that work will go further. We'll see.

1 pointTesting was finished. The 3D model is solid but a few ajustments must be made for the FM plus a few minor issues. In the shortest time possible these problems will be addressed. I'll keep you posted. Some pictures with its animations in LOD viewer: https://www34.zippyshare.com/v/8D0yA1wl/file.html PS - PLEASE, for god's sake, a moderator could get rid me of that error " You are only allowed to upload 61.44kb " ??? I ASKED THAT four times and no one did anything. I can't show pics here because of that and I have to go to some other sites just to show you pics of the plane!

Spanish Civil War Polikarpov I-15 Read Me The Polikarpov I-15, nicknamed "Chato," was one of the primary fighters used by the Republican forces in the Spanish Civil War. The Spanish Republic bought a large number of them from the Soviet Union, and manufactured even more in Spanish factories. The Polikarpov I-15 was armed with four machine guns and could carry a light bomb load. They were used mostly as fighters, escorts, and interceptors. They were used for ground attack missions on occasion. My Polikarpov includes a basic green paint skin, decals, two loadouts, and a 25kg bomb. Instructions for installing the bomb are included with the download. I have also included my skinning templates with the download. Credits Thanks to Ojcar for making the data file for the Polikarpov I-15. Thanks also to Crowford who provided valuable resources for the plane and loadouts. And thanks to Geezer for resources and inspiration. Installation Instructions For FE1 - Unzip the file. Move the folder named "PolikarpovI15" into your FirstEagles/Objects/Aircraft folder. You will also need to install the bomb. The bomb and instructions for installing it are included as separate files. For FE2 - Unzip the file. Move the folder named "PolikarpovI15" into your FirstEagles/Objects/Aircraft folder. Then in the FirstEagles/Objects/Decals folder, create a new folder named "PolikarpovI15". Move the folder named "D" from your Aircraft/PolikarpovI15 folder into the Decals/PolikarpovI15 folder you just made. You will also need to install the bomb. The bomb and instructions for installing it are included as separate files. -

The Breguet XIX was developed in 1924 as a light bomber and reconnaissance plane. It was used by many nations throughout the 20's and early 30's. Several variations were produced, with different engines, gun configurations, and fuselage designs. Spain bought several Breguet XIXs and eventually began producing them in their CASA (Construcciones Aeronáuticas SA) plants. By the early 1930s the Breguet XIX was obsolete and beginning to be replaced. When the Spanish Civil War began, there were almost 100 still in service and they were used by both sides until better planes became available. I have made the Breguet XIX B2 bomber variant as produced by CASA. It has a Vickers machine gun mounted in the fuselage, and two Lewis guns mounted on a scarff ring. It has a Lorraine-Dietrich 12 cylinder engine and can carry a small bomb load. I have made two versions, one for each side, with appropriate skins, decals, and loadouts. My skinning templates are included. The bomb loadouts for the Nationalist version use the German 50kg bomb (Ge50kg) from Geezer's 1930s Bomb Pack, available in the Combat Ace, First Eagles Golden Era Download section. Credits Thanks to Ojcar for making the data file for the Breguet XIX, and for supplying me with some valuable reference material. Installation Instructions For FE1 - Unzip the file. Move the folders named "Breguet19N" and "Breguet19R" into your FirstEagles/Objects/Aircraft folder. If you haven't already done so, you will need to download and install Geezers 1930s Bomb Pack 01 - available in the download area of Combat Ace (First Eagles - Golden Era - Object Mods.) For FE2 - Unzip the file. Move the folders named "Breguet19N" and "Breguet19R" into your FirstEagles/Objects/Aircraft folder. Then in the FirstEagles/Objects/Decals folder, create two new folders named "Breguet19N" and "Breguet19R". Move the folder named "D" from your Aircraft/Breguet folders into the appropriate Decals/Breguet folders you just made. If you haven't already done so, you will need to download and install Geezers 1930s Bomb Pack 01 - available in the download area of Combat Ace (First Eagles - Golden Era - Object Mods.) -

Updated files to reflect user inputs - see change log. The SAVE SELECTION AS CHANNEL button in my copy of Photoshop has stopped working, so I cannot fix the bullet holes alpha channel problem. I have placed the _Holes files in the Graphics Pack. If you can make your own .tga files with alpha channel, just drop the resulting four .tga files into the CR42_1 folder. ************************************************************************************************************************************************************** The CR42 was Italy's most numerous fighter in 1940, and fought over North and East Africa, plus briefly in the Battle of Britain. Export versions operated in the Battle of France (Belgium) and on the Eastern Front (Hungary). Immensely strong, its license-built Pratt & Whitney engine drove a license-built Hamilton-Standard constant speed propeller, giving the CR42 a performance edge over Allied biplanes in early WW2. This is the first of many 1930s aircraft intended for FE/FE2. The planned selection of aircraft will cover the early desert war in North Africa and also the Spanish Civil War. Whenever appropriate, an SF2 version will also be developed for Baffmeister's BoB mod. A number of modders have assisted me in developing this aircraft, particularly Stephen1918. Additional thanks to Wrench, Baffmeister, Sully, gambit168, Nixou, and Viper63a. I've probably forgotten someone - if so, my apologies. Special thanks to professional illustrator Jim Laurier for use of his instrument art for the cockpit. The only known problem is the extended take off run - once in the air, no other problems have been observed. When Baffmeister returns in the autumn, he said he will tweak the FM a bit more to his satisfaction. The current FM lists the CR42 as a German aircraft so it will drop into most First Eagles' mods. You can change the nationality by opening the CR42_DATA.ini and editing the first two lines of the Mission Data listings. THIS MODEL IS ONLY TO BE DISTRIBUTED AS FREEWARE AND IN NO OTHER CIRCUMSTANCE SHALL IT BE USED, EVEN IN PART, OF ANYTHING THAT IS PAYWARE, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE COMBAT ACE MODDERS AGREEMENT. -

Unfortunately due the HDD crash I lost the original 3D file and layered textures and this is whats left. There is some hierarchy issue, but you probably never find it :-) Credits: 3D Model Textures by me, Monty CZ There are 2 versions of data (FM) packed.
