Sit rep: The color of the small river and the Themse in London area does not really fit. Thatswhy i'm reworking the small rivers to give them a dark, more natural looking color. Screenshot is showing a WIP old (light blue) and new color (dark) of small rivers. after repainting the small river tile looks more european than before. I decided to make the small river tile as JPG, instead TGA. A JPG tile has a size of around 300 kb, a TGA has 4.097 kb. The workload for the computer was to high, so that it could happen, that during dogfight with many planes the fps rate dropped significantly. With JPG it does not happen.

This U2 pilot is gonna have a very bad day deep inside the Motherland! Altought those hig alt interceptions are lot harder than in lower levels... And the missiles usually malfunction. Seems like a good chute, the comissars are gonne ba veeeeery happy.

Using VonS' method, I discovered my problem. It was caused by a file called 'InlineExhaustEffect' in my Effects Folder. When I removed it, I got my exhaust smoke back. Additionally, my trial-and-error has brought home to me that TK's stock effects are quite good in themselves. Thanks to everyone on the thread. It has been a great learning experience. Mick.

Many thanks for All. The problem is over after adding the line from Wrench's post : [ExhaustMaterial] EffectShaderName=effectLightLevel.fx DepthBufferCheck=TRUE DepthBufferWrite=FALSE ... etc...

@mue I actually noticed that when I was fiddling around. Then I was able to view the F-4 above. Also made this! This is just a camo repaint of the F-100G mod because I thought a plane like this would be more suited for merc work. Progress!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you just need to launch the game...for all ini entry to be updated.. Quit program and LOD viewer will see all skin sets.

Do not get me wrong. I am aware of read_me. But still, i did a shitload of work to convert stary's tiles to your terrain. including adding more than 60 new tiles. few things are not finished (and perhaps never will be..but for home use, this terrain now is quite a prefect)

It is from TK's Campaign Customizer DLC. It was included in one of SF2's expansions, IIRC. I used Mue's CatExtractor to find it. My SF2WOW menu mod includes a new, custom one. Of course, if you do not have the DLC or expansion with said screen, you won't be able to access it. EDIT: it's inside DLCData011.DLC archive, Mue's CAT extractor can open it.

General Dynamics F-111A 'Early TAC' for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2 This is a very simple mod of the superb F-111A by FastCargo to represent a fictional 'earlier timeline' version of the F-111A entering service in 1965 with service years restricted to 1965 to 1967 inclusive. BACKSTORY Perhaps the three technical breakthroughs that came together to make the F-111A (the swing-wing, the afterburning turbofan and solid-state devices) came together just that little bit earlier leading to the corresponding earlier drafting of SOR-183 and the resultant TFX competition thus predating McNamara and the distraction of 'commonality' and the Naval F-111B. INSTRUCTIONS Firstly, please make sure you've got the F-111 SuperVarkPack for the tanks and weapons bay mounted gun. Got it? Good! 1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the F-111A_TAC folder into your Aircraft folder. 2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the F-111A_TAC folder into your Decals folder. 3. From the SOUNDS folder drag and drop the TF30_DRY AND TF30_WET files into your Sounds folder. That's it! CREDITS As always, big thanks to Third Wire for the continuous improvement of a great little game/sim. Massive thanks to FastCargo for the full and complete F-111 family. The F-111 Super Vark Pack by FastCargo gives comprehensive thanks to everyone who has played a part and his credits include thanks to Norman Knight for the F-111 pit. And, finally, thanks to everyone in the wider Third Wire community. Regards Spinners Version 1 - 02/02/14
