The Elkan (name of the FACH for Mirage 5 Mirsip) were purchased secondhand from Belgium in 1994 for a total of $ 108 million. Replaced the Hawker Hunter Aviation Group No. 8 based in Antofagasta. During his service with the air force flew more than 14,000 hours over 12 years. The FACH at the time acquired 15 Mirage 5BA MIRSIP (called M-5MA Elkan by FACH), 5 Mirage 5BD MIRSIP (M-5BD Elkan) and 1 and 5 BD Mirage 5 Mirage 5BR reconnaissance without modifying the standard MIRSIP. Aircraft registrations received 701 to 725. At his low eight aircraft were operational, nine out of service and two rugged.

Mirage 50C and 50FC aircraft upgraded by ENAER with help from the Israeli company IAI for Chile with canards, revised, Kfir style nose and new avionics; 13 50C and FC upgraded plus two 50DC trainers.
      Later converted mirage50CN Pantera.

    2. Mirage 5BD

The Dassault Mirage III is a family of single-seat, single-engine, fighter aircraft produced by Dassault Aviation for the French Air Force and widely exported. Prominent operators included Australia, Argentina, South Africa and Israel, as well as a number of nonaligned nations. Though an older design, the second generation fighter is still a fairly maneuverable aircraft and an effective opponent in close range dogfighting. In French service it was armed with air-to-ground ordnance or R.550 Magic air-to-air missiles.

The versatility of the design enabled production of trainer, reconnaissance and ground-attack versions as well as the Dassault Mirage 5, Dassault Mirage IIIV and Atlas Cheetah variants. A Mirage III was the first European combat aircraft to exceed a speed of Mach 2 in horizontal flight.

      Requirements: DLC Mirage5BA.

    4. Mirage IIIB/IIIBE PACK

      Mirage IIIB

The Armée de l'Air also ordered a two-seat Mirage IIIB operational trainer, which first flew in October 1959. The fuselage was stretched about a meter (3 ft 3.5 in) and both cannons were removed to accommodate the second seat. The IIIB had no radar, and provision for the SEPR rocket was deleted, although it could carry external stores. The AdA ordered 63 Mirage IIIBs (including the prototype), including five Mirage IIIB-1 trials aircraft, ten Mirage IIIB-2(RV) inflight refueling trainers with dummy nose probes, used for training Mirage IVA bomber pilots, and 20 Mirage IIIBEs, with the engine and some other features of the multi-role Mirage IIIE. One Mirage IIIB was fitted with a fly-by-wire flight control system in the mid-1970s and redesignated 'Mirage IIIB-SV (Stabilité Variable); this aircraft was used as a testbed for the system in the later Mirage 2000.

This mod is based on dtmdragons Skyhawk II pack, he unfortunately never released. I used it as base and starting
point, but rearranged it a bit, to incorporate new pylons and better reflect updates and the different
      camouflages used during the years.
      Included are the following Squadrons:
      - VMA-131 Diamondbacks (M_82)
      - VMA-142 Flying Gators (M_82)
      - VMA-211 Wake Island Avengers (M_75, M_79, M_82)
      - VMA-214 Black Sheep (M, M_75, M_79, 2x M_82)
      - VMA-223 Bulldogs (M_75, M_82)
      - VMA-311 Tomcats (M, M_75, M_82)
      - VMA-322 Fighting Gamecocks (M_82)
      - VMA-324 Devildogs (M)
      - VMA-331 BumbleBees (M, M_75, M_82)

My thank goes to Dan (dtmdragon) for the Skyhawk II-Pack!

Valuable Information came from 331Killerbee, who worked on the real planes and Muesli - Thanks you guys!

A special thanks goes to RussoUK2004, who was patient enough to help me bring the new Blender-made Pylons to SF2!
Thanks m8, I really appreciate your help!

      v1.02
      - corrected Hitboxes on all 4 planes, as they were shifted forward for unknown reasons
      - corrected some lines on A-4K_Body SpecMap and BumpMap
      - corrected the wrong position of the included sounds-folder
      - included an alternate PilotModel (provided by FanaticModder, made by ????)
      - included some new sounds (provided by FanaticModder, made by ????)
      - included a new 400gal droptank usable on centerline (Thanks cocas for helping with the conversion!)
      - updated loadout.inis to include the new tank

      v1.01
      - fixed a spelling error in the hangar-screens
      - changed VMA-331 (1980) CAG decal from "1st Marine Air Wing" to "2nd Marine Air Wing". The former decal is just renamed for easy switching.

      >>> You can use the Update if you already have v1.01 to just get the changed files! <<<

      Notes:
      - new pylons with different missile rails
      - new ARBS-nose
      - skins in 4096x4096
      - stand-in Kfir-cockpit modified and repainted (no real cockpit available)
      - 400gal Centerline Tank
      - corrected Bump- and SpecularMaps for the M (based on DLC A-4K which has them activated) -
experimental and can for sure be optimized

      Installation:
      1. unzip to a temporary folder
      2. open "Put_Content_In_Your_Mod folder" and do as you were told, if asked to overwrite, say 'yes' :P
      3. enjoy!

If some squadrons are missing in the loadout screen, you should add the following lines in the squadronlist.ini
("<mod>\pilotdata"-folder) with XXX changed to the next free number for the missing squadrons:

      [squadronXXX]
      Name=VMA142 <-- needed for this mod: VMA131, VMA142, VMA211, VMA214, VMA223, VMA311, VMA322, VMA324 and VMA331
DisplayName=VMA-142 'Flying Gators' <-- the actual display text. Names for all squadrons are in "The Mod" section
Nation=USMC <-- USMC for all squadrons

    8. This is my version of airfield approach lights for SF1 series. I gathered already existing airfield approach lights from http://combatace.com/files/file/1866-runway-approach-lights/ uploaded by HrntFixr and from http://combatace.com/files/file/1866-false/uploaded by the same Submitter (no modifications were made with his work, just changing the time of lights on and off), and mixed them with German airbases, Soviet airbases, Desert airfields and VietnamSEA airfields. I made small edits with time the lights are on and off and now a compromise was found between the time the lights are switched on and off: now the lights are switched on after 4.00 PM and off after 8.00 AM, that was done for having the lights always on in the inclement weather, the lights are on 24 hours in the inclement weather so now it is not difficult to find the airfield and land in the inclement weather. The images show the airfield approach lights at their finest! I specially uploaded many screenshots with various aircrafts to show how these lights transform and make more realistic the overall picture of this fantastic game!

These are complete airfields inis - no need to change anything inside the same, just copy and paste into your terrains. Backup your airfield inis before you drop these ones if you do not like them and do not want to use anymore. Hope you will like it!

This is my first work I share with gamers of this fantastic game! J

Backup your airfield inis in your terrains before installation. Just drop these inis into your terrains. Be careful that each terrain has own specific airfield inis: German and Soviet airbases for GermanCE, Black Sea, Kamchatka terrains etc., Desert airfields for IsraelME, Libya terrains etc., VietnamSEA airfield for DRV. Probably it will be compatible with SF2 series terrains as well.
      Please try yourselves.
