This is a Bonus pack for my Wings Over Vietnam Hangar and Loading Screens. It contains corrected screens from the previous packs and, also, new Hangar and Loading Screens, including the excellent F-106 for anyone willing to embody it in WOV, altough it did not take action in the Vietnam War. The F-4D Night Owl Loading Screen inspired me a lot, so I made loading screens for the AC-119G Shadow, the AC-119K Stinger and the B-57G Canberra.
 
Furthermore, Menu Screens are included, some Thirdwire-style and some of my own. However, some people gave me ideas with their works. These are:

Important notes for this pack
 
BACKUP FIRST!
 
Two Mainscreen versions are included. You have to choose an image and the .ini from the same folder.
 
I have included a few Default Loadingscreens in the flight folder. Choose the one you like most.
 
As for the Menu, pick the contents from one of the two folders and place them to the Menu folder in the main game folder.
 
In any case, allow to overwrite.
 
Concluding, a WoV desktop icon is included.

This is the release of the De Havilland Venom NF.3 Night/All Weather figher by Veltro2k.
 
The aircraft comes with 3 skins:
 
RAF:
No. 23 Squadron
No. 141 Squadron
 
Swedish Flygvapnet:
F1 Hasslo (J-33)
 
All markings are decals and decal randomization is TRUE. All items; sounds, pilots, drop tank are supplied. All other weapons use stock 3W items. Serial numbers (RAF version) while correct for the variant, should be considered 'generic' in nature not representing any specific unit. IIRC, the Swedish numbering should be 100% historicly correct.
Other RAF squadrons are easily made by creating the "bar-roundel" decal seen on the tail booms.
The canopy operates via the Standard Animation Keystrokes; shift/0 (zero)
 
When in-game, you'll see
 
Venom NF.3 (v2k)
 
on the Aircraft selection drop down menu. This will diferentiate it from any others you may (or may not) have.
 
As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them .... Give the "notes" a browse, too!

U-2 Grand Tour Missions over North Vietnam (1966) by comrpnt
 
Welcome
Welcome to a small set of missions related to the USAF's use of the U-2 over North Vietnam during the mid-1960s. This mission pack was inspired by Giles Whittell's excellent book Bridge of Spies.
 
This mission pack is designed to work with ThirdWire's StrikeFighters - Series 1, Wings Over Vietnam (WOV), patched to October 2008. Note that some external add-ons are required to carry out the missions in this pack. Missions included in this pack
The following missions are available in this pack; fly as the U-2 pilot over key strategic targets in North Vietnam, avoiding a multitude of SAMs and interceptors that attempt to engage you, or fly as a pilot of the Vietnam People's Air Force and attempt to 'down' the U-2 as it violates your airspace. Each mission takes place early in the morning, in daylight conditions with broken cloud. Note that daylight operations were required to assist the array of cameras on board the U-2. For each mission, waypoints are provided to guide you.
 
U-2 Grand Tour In a U-2A, take off from RTAFB Ubon and head, at altitude (~70k ft), for the border with North Vietnam, south of the disused airbase at Dong Hoi. Then head north towards Hanoi, before heading south-east to Haiphong, and then turn south-west for the long trip home.
 
U-2 intercept (MiG-19) Attempt to intercept the U-2 as it enters your airspace, south-west of Dong Hoi. Depart from the VPAF airbase at Ben Loi, west of Vinh Son.
 
U-2 intercept (MiG-21) Using the more advanced MiG-21, attempt to intercept the U-2 as it continues to make its way north to the capital, Hanoi, and then escapes south and west via Haiphong. Depart from the VPAF airbase at Bai Thuong, south of Hanoi.

Soviet/Russian Pilots Pack - part 2 (80's to present)

These are re-skins of the stock pilot model, representing Soviet/Russian pilots wearing the latest generation Soviet/Rusian flightgear.
 

Pilot descriptions:

Red7250 and Red7350
 
These pilots are wearing current standard Russian helmet - ZSh-7, KM-34 series 2 oxygen mask and VKK-15 high altitude suit. Developed in late 1980s, these suits are the latest generation of mass produced Soviet/Russian high altitude suits
 
Use on:
Almost all contemporary Russian aircraft that fly on higer altitudes: MiG-25, MiG-29, MiG-31, Su-27, Tu-160, late Tu-95.
 
Red5260, Red7260 and Red7360
 
These guys are wearing VMSK-4 naval survival suit. It is a complete pilot protection system as it contains a number of partial pressure (G-suit) components and it also acts as a dry-suit in case the pilot ejects into the cold waters of the North or Barents Seas. Great for North Atlantic or DBS terrains.
Red5260 is more suitable for older aircraft like Yak-38.
 
Use on:
Soviet/Russian naval aviation aircraft, aircraft flying over cold waters
Yak-38, Yak-41, Su-33, MiG-29K, Tu-22M etc...
 
Red5225, Red7225 and Red7325
 
Regular flight suits in camo pattern and anti-G pants. Used in various aircraft since the late 80s.
 
Use on:
Pretty much everything that flies since the 80s. I am using these in ground attackers.
 

Instalation:

1. Extract to your "Objects\Pilots\" folder.
 
2. Open the *_data.ini file for your aircraft of choice and search for a section like this:
 
[Pilot]

Change the line
 
PilotModelName=...
 
to
 
PilotModelName=RedXXXX
 
If the it does not have the line above, just add it.
Save!
 
3. Start the game and enjoy your new pilots!

SF2 C-130 Hercules and other Cargo Pilots 2016

This mod includes additional C-130 or other cargo plane pilots. Not sure where the base pilot I modded came from, I think I got the pilot from a different mod. If anyone knows, please drop me a line so I can properly credit the creator of the LOD file.
 
To use the pilots, please add them to your "Pilots" folder and update your "<plane>DATA.INI" file's "Crew" section to display them in your planes.

SF2 Alternate Clean and Dirty Exhaust Emitters 2016

This mod includes custom exhaust emitters to replace the stock Clean and Dirty emitters. I've been tweaking these for about a year now (!) and I think I finally have it the way I like it.
 
If you're for vapor ripples or greasy streaks in the sky, these ain't it. The Clean emitter has just a tad bit more presence so you can see it when looking back. The Dirty emitter blooms darkly behinds the plane and fades into transparency.
 
If you choose to install these effects, I recommend that you back up your current "Effects" folder. Just in case you want to go back to your original setup.
 
To install, simply unzip and copy the uncompressed "To_Mod_Folder" folder to your "Saved Games" mod folder(s).
