II. History:
 
The combat experiences in Vietnam showed, that the RP-21 radar of the MiG-21PF generation was not really satisfying. Very often the pilots detected the target with their eyes earlier than with the radar. The new RP-22 for the next MiG-21 generation was on paper 30% better, but in reality a target in the size of a MiG-21 could be only detected at a range of 7km. So some frontline pilots believed, that the RP-22 radar was only worthless additionally weight and demanded to replace it by the simple radar rangefinder Kvant. So the plane should become lighter and more agile. Further it should get a stronger engine. The MiG-OKB decided to try to use an uprated version of the R-13 which was originaly developed for the Su-15M. This engine was the R-13F2-300 with the same dry thrust like the old R-13-300, but an increased afterburner thrust of 70.2 kN.
In 1969 one (other sources say 2) MiG-21SM were taken from the production line and were refitted to the DF standard. Flighttest were held in 1970 and spring 1971 with satisfying results. But it was decided to cancel this project in favor of the more advanced MiG-21bis.

Mod of the superb Mirage F-1CG from the Mirage F-1 Team to make it look like a fictional fighter plane for the israeli air force.
 
YOU WILL NEED SF2:I AT LEAST TO GET THIS PLANE RUNNING!
 
For the weapons you'll need to have one version of the F-1 already installed.
The Weapons were created by the Mirage Factory and are therefore not covered by the permission.
 
 
INSTRUCTIONS
 
1. Drop the folders into your Objects folder. If asked to overwrite, click yes.

Templates for Pasko's and Column5's F-106A Delta Dart.

These are .psd files with redrawn panel lines and rivets. You will need a paint prgroam such as Photoshop or Gimp that can read .psd files. You also need to know how to work with layers.
 
The lines and rivets are painted in pure black with a second offset underlayer in pure white. The opacity for all is adjustable.
 
The Wing.psd is mirrorred. It serves both left and right wings.

In 1978, the Dhimari Intelligence Service started Operation Apodrasi. It consisted on detecting and investigating military personnel that may want to defect, due any reason, political, idiological, personal, etc.. Some low profile military officials and privates of the Parani Army had their family in Dhimar, and, most important, 10 MiG-21 pilots. In a cold and dark night, these were on CAP near the border and "got lost", only to end up landing on Quneitra Airfield. One of the pilots along with it's aircraft was sent to the US. The remaining 9 pilots stayed in Dhimar helping train their new friends, and the MiG-21s where immediatley put into service, as MiG-21Dh.

P-51D Mustang - 9th Air Force
 
Here you have a collection of generic skins representing the 9th Air Force Fighter Groups North American P-51D/K Mustang during WWII.
 
They are NOT 100% accurate and definitely NOT perfect since camouflage and/or markings patterns differed from plane to plane within the same squadron, therefore the term "generic" (constructive criticism will be accepted, however, rivet-counters, nit-pickers and haters in general, well, you can talk amongst yourselves).
 
This time I have decided to split the original pack into the fighter squadrons in the 5th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 14th and 15th Army Air Forces, so definitely expect
more to come!
 
Most serial numbers used are stock ones and others are modified (colored) stock serials.
 
You must have the following for this pack to work:
1. Strike Fighters 2 Expansion Pack 1 installed to get the P-51.
2. WWII Nations.ini
3. WWII Formation.ini
4. WWII weapons pack
 
Also, you'll need to update your squadron list, which is included in each pack.
