    1. StrikeFighter2 Hi-Res 1024x768 Stock Campaign Images Upgrade!

      This mod includes replacements for ALL (that's right, ALL) stock campaign images from SF2 to SF2NA. I extracted the MENUDATA.CAT and upgraded all the images I found there. Then I used the Mission.ini and text files to rebuild the "Campaigns" folders! So, this should be complete unless I missed something. If I did, let me know. No other (Hangar, Loading) images or INI files are changed.
       
      1) UNZIP the file and preview the new images. I recommend doing this as there are some alternate images I have in there that you might like better.
       
      2) BACKUP your "Campaigns" folder so you can restore your original set up if you don't like this mod.
       
      3) INSTALL/COPY the "Campaigns" folder into your disired StrikeFighter2 "Saved Game" folder.
       
      My Win97 folders were..(yours may be different)...
       
      C:\Users\<your_id>\Saved Games\Thirdwire\StrikeFighter2\
      C:\Users\<your_id>\Saved Games\Thirdwire\StrikeFighter2 Vietnam\

    2. F/A-18A/B/C/D Version 2.0

      Streamlined the mod, took out some of the skins to make the package smaller, fixed many ini problems. Add missing hangar and loadng screens. Deleted loose files. Made it more user friendly and complete package.

      This package is beta and to be honest we are all sick of looking at it. So here is the deal. You find something wrong and the community agrees, send it to me and I will keep the package updated. We just need fresh eyes on it. There is a new pit by Brain32 that is amazing.

    3. StrikeFighter2 Hi-Res 1024x768 Menu Screens

      This mod includes custom StrikeFighter2 menu screens and pilots. No other (Hangar, Loading or Campaign) screens or INI files are changed. You should unzip the file and preview the new screens before installing them. I recommend doing this as there are MANY alternate screens I have in there that you might like better.
       
      If you choose to install these screens, I recommend that you back up your MENU, FLIGHT and PILOTDATA folders in the SF2 Mod folder you're installing this mod into. Just in case you want to go back to your original setup.
       
      To install, simply unzip and copy the Flight and Menu folder to your StrikeFighter2 Mod folder.
       
      My Win97 folder was..(yours may be different)...

Aren't you tired at spending lots of your missions in the U.S.-sided campaigns of WoV flying a bomb truck, either trying to crush a handful of black pyjamas in the jungle, or to survive the vicious flak and SAMs over Hanoi? Don't you dream instead of a campaign completely devoted to interceptions, dogfights, the blazing air-to-air combat across the clouds over home country, facing a superior enemy that puts the challenge very high? So give a try to the Red side of the 'Nam! Such campaigns do exist at CombatAce, provided by eburger68, that makes the MiG interceptors flyable. Now I do provide the faces behind your cockpit, and the awards for your guts.
       
      This mod provides you with a large panel of decorations for the Vietnam People's Air Force. Lots of pilots pics have also been added, with Soviet hard helmet for the MiG-21 pilots, and soft leather skullcap for the MiG-17/-19 pilots.

    5. SF2 WW2 MTO Spitfire Mk.IX, Polish Fighting Team Skinpak 1/8/2015

      *This mod will NOT work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs, at any patch level. One should also have the SF2I expansion pak, that gave us the Spitfires, as this mod REQUIRES the 3W Spitfire Mk.IX,
       
      This package contains a new skin for MTO (specificly Tunisian) based RAF Spitfire Mk.IXs. It represents
       
      "C" Flight, No. 145 Squadron, aka "Polish Fighting Team"
       
      All marking are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE for the 16 plane-in-squadron and serial number decals. Serial numbers marked with a star (*) are 100% historically matched to their plane-in-squadron number. Those marked with a cross (+, ok the plus sign!), while having served with the PFT, could not be matched to a specific aircraft. Those without any markings, are 'generic'. It should be noted, that the PFT used numbers, instead of letter for their individual IDs.
      Please note, this is just the skin/decal set. I've not included any of the bits needed to make the aircraft Player Flyable ™. There's plenty of other mods that do this.
       
      When in game, on the Loadout Screen, you'll see

    6. This is a mod of Mirage Factorys F-5E Tiger II to make it look like a fictional plane for the US air force.
       
      BACKGROUND:
       
      The need for a fast, agile and versatile attack plane led to the construction of this plane. The R&D department of Northrop Grumman went a more unorthodox way: They took the F-5E Tiger II contruction plans and started modyfing some of the parts and remodeling the fuselage, wings and interior fuselage ompartments. The improvements were astonishing, even for the engineers from Northrop Grumman. The entire hull is composed of a titanium alloy coating a skeleton of carbon fibre and a steel/titanium alloy, making possible a high loadout both under the wings and fuselage.
       
      General Electric improved the former engines of this plane replacing the injection system, using less parts and reducing the weight of the engines by using different materials. This improvements lets the engine develop more than 30% dry and wet thrust than before.
       
      Also the avionics and the radar got modified enabling the use of the most air-air and air-ground-weapons. The radar used is the AN/APG-70V1.
       
      This made necessary the removal of the left gun leaving the muzzle there for cooling purpose of the new and advanced electronic equipment. The right gun was replaced with a 20mm M61A1-Gatling Gun.
       
      The "TacTiger" made its maiden flight on the 18th of October of 2011 and entered service in 2012.

    8. BELL AH-1Q COBRA Ver 1.0

      This is a third party add on of the AH-1Q Cobra using models and cockpits created by me.
      The original flight model is standard as on many free to download helicopters.
      I have just modified it a bit.
       
      It is designed for and works in the SF1 and SF2 series.
      However this pack is build on SF1 folder tree.
      For SF2 You have to separete Decals folders.
      There is a plenty of tutorials how to convert to SF2 series.
       
      There is a issue with tractorbeamshadow. I will try to fix this asap.
      For now temporary i dont have posibility to convert and work on SF2 sim. Temporary.

      New weapons specific for this model are already included in this package.
       
      All of weapon stations are made as specific station code and will work only with Cobra WeaponPACK.
       
      Standard commands for activating Cobra features:
       
      AIRBRAKES - sun filter/shader on off - just for fun no airbrakes so empty animation slot for use.
       
      ARRESTING HOOK - jump from pilot station to gunner station.
       
      LANDING GEAR - belly light deploy/retract at any speed in late models
      - nose lights activate/deactivate in early model. Lights must on.
       
      A2A mode - gunner station guncross for turret.
       
      A2Ground mode - pilot M73 cross.
       
      ANIMATION 7 - turret doors
       
      ANIMATION 8 - ammo bay dooors
       
      ANIMATION 9 - gunner door (ext and cockpit view)
       
      ANIMATION 10 - pilot door (ext and cockpit view)
       
       
      For take off: Around 75% of throttle vector (small needle on RPM clock in cockpit should be like 65degree up) - (default ctrl + ) and then increase power to 70-85% (or more for quick lift) and pull controll stick little and snake will take off. Then reduce throttle vector as needed and reduce power to 69%. It should fly around 110kts now. 69% is about cruising speed.
       
      When on the ground you can see rotating blades for pitch and roll. Just additional and unnecesary thing (not visible so much when flying) but it is possible so it is there. Not working like i want but better then nothing.
       
      There are two different pylons on inboard stations one for rocketpods one for gunpods. Just to have a proper angle of fire with GP. It is not proper for real model but in my opinion best what can be done for SF engine. Rocket pods are ok with correct angle on inboard stations.
       
      Outboard TOW pylons. You can load 4 or 8 BGM-71 Missiles. Upper M65 launcher is made as StationGroupID=3 and lowwer M65 launcher is StationGroupID=4. Either you can load only on upper launcher or both lower and upper.
      Of course loading onl on lower without upper will look silly. But this is thirdwire game engine. We can't change it. Unfortunately in loadout menu option for 2 BGM-71 will appear. Well i don't know how to limit station to load only on weapon rack. Do not use it also. It doesn't look good. And missile has no launching tube.
       
      Guns are loaded as weaponstations so player got options.

      There is skin only for 11 ACR in Europe. Well Q was upgraded to S(MOD) quickly so not much info to find about Q in units.
      All serial numbers are proper for Q model but am not sure if these numbers appeared in 11th ACR.
      15086 for sure was there.
       
       
      This pack contains already weapons folder. There you will find 2 new weapons and one weapon rack for this Q model Cobra.
