    1. The Handley Page Halifax was one of the four-engined heavy bombers of the Royal Air Force during the Second World War. A contemporary of the famous Avro Lancaster, the Halifax remained in service until the end of the war, performing a variety of duties in addition to bombing. The Halifax was also operated by squadrons of the Royal Canadian Air Force, Royal Australian Air Force, Free French Air Force, and Polish forces, and after the Second World War by the Royal Egyptian Air Force, the Armée de l'Air and the Royal Pakistan Air Force.

    2. McDonnell Douglas A-4K Skyhawk 'BAF' for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2

      This is a very simple mod of the stock Third Wire DLC A-4K to give a fictional Belgian A-4K with markings for No.1, No.2 and No.42 squadrons of the Belgian Air Force with service years ranging from 1970 to 1991. If you haven't actually got the A-4K DLC you'll quickly be able to hack the contents to suit whatever you've got available to you. Please note that for simplicity (i.e. laziness) I've used the stock Mirage 5BA serial numbers.

      BACKSTORY

      In early February 1968 the outgoing Belgian Paul Van den Boeynants announced that the Dassault Mirage 5 was to be purchased as the desperately needed Thunderstreak replacement for the Belgian Air Force. However, within days, massive student unrest and questions of discrimination against the ethnic Flemish population led to the bringing down of the Van den Boeynants government and a new incoming government led by Gaston Eyskens. The new government immediately cancelled the order for the Mirage 5BA and instead purchased the American A-4K Skyhawk in a reduced purchase of 48 A-4K single-seaters and 12 TA-4K two-seat trainers.

    3. SF2 WW2 ETO RAF Coastal Command Fortress IIA Pak 5/10/2014

      -- Something for the WW2 ETO players --

      = For SF2 ONLY, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

      **Note: Having any SF2 series game is HIGHLY reccomended, as this mod references the stock destroyed An-12. Also, due to modifications to various inis, this mod will probably -NOT- work in 06/08 level 1stGen game installs. This has not/cannot be tested by me. SF2NA is REQUIRED as part of you game installs, as this aircraft uses several NA-specific mission tasking for it's Naval Search and so forth.**

      *This is a "Theatre Specific" & Nationalized release of Veltro2K's NEW!!! B-17E Flying Fortress Heavy Bomber. This package contains the Fortress IIA for RAF Coastal Command, in Europe =ONLY=.*

      There is 1 skins/decal set in this pack:

      No. 220 Squadon, RAF Coastal Command, as based in Northern UK and Northern Ireland, for North Sea and Atlantic patrols.

      The Skin is in jpg format. The serials ARE historically correct for the aircraft, but should be considered 'generic' in nature, as they represent no specific aircraft in a particular squadron.
      All markings are decals. All lighting is historically correct. Damage textures are in DDS format.

      It should be noted, this mod is for use -ONLY- in an ETO-centric mods folder; research seems to poin to these aircraft having only been used over the Atlantic. In this case, RAF Fortress IIAs were replaced by Liberator GR.V/VI/VII in 1944.

      When in-game, you'll see:

      Fortress IIA (V2K)

      on the aircraft selection. While no other E models exist, this is simply done as a convenience.

      As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! PLEASE read the "Notes" section for other important notations.

    4. Armée de l'air Mirage IIIR and Mirage IIIRD

      What's in:

      A complete MOD representing the different versions of the IIIR used by the Armée de l'air.

      More in detail:

      *** Mirage IIIR ***

      Version with no radar
      Correct cockpit with RWR
      Skins for squadrons: Savoie, Belfort and Moselle (Different times; early and late)

      *** Mirage IIIRD ***

      Version with radar
      Not correct cockpit as it has no scope, if you want to have both scope and rwr you can use the original Mirage Factory cockpit for the Mirage IIIE
      Skins from squadron Moselle , the only squadron that used this type of aircraft.

      See changelog for more infomation of what has changed.

      Instalation:

      Just drag everything into the MOD folder.

      REQUIREMENTS:

      Mirage IIIO DLC If you don't have it, forget about this MOD.

      --------------Known Issues---------------

      It is still a beta version but as it is a very important plane for Strike Fighters 2 Europe I decided to upload the mod "imcomplete" so , What it is missing?

      1) Correct Tail numbers
      2) Côte d'or squadron for the IIIR
      3) Integration of the 1700 liter fuel tank
      4) Repaint of the fuel tanks for 500 and 1300 liters.

    5. This model represents the Takanami class destroyers (DD-110~DD-114), in service with the JMSDF from 2003 to present. The Takanami is an improved version of Japan's modern workhorse, the Murasame class, with a larger main gun and more flexible vertical launch system. Two variants are included, the original as-built vessel, and a recent refit with ESSM replacing Sea Sparrows.

      The Takanami class features well-rounded armament including a 127mm gun, two Phalanx CIWS, two 4-canister SSM launchers, ASW torpedoes, and a 32-cell Mk41 for VL-ASROC missiles and SAMs.

      A full names list and authentic decals are included. The model features a helicopter deck and a few other surprises. This ship is best used in conjunction with my Kongo class, Murasame class, Asagiri class, Hatsuyuki class, and other upcoming JMSDF capital ships.

    6. A-4L Skyhawk, VC-13 "Fighting Saints" Skin/Decal Pak
      = For SF2 (Full-4 Merged Prefered) and/or SF2:V =

      *Can be used in any install that has access to the A-4C_65, which is stock in all merged installs, excepting a stand-alone SF2:I. However, it does use the A-4E_67 Cockpit and Avionics ini, which is only availabe in SF2:V. Hence, the 'Full-4 Merged' tag is applicable*

      Complete overhaul of the A-4L Skyhawk as originally released in 2004 by Crab02 and Column5. For historical purposes, their original readme is included.
      This mod makes use of all stock, "in-game" items, excepting for the avionics hump.

      All inis have been updated to the latest patch level (August, 2011); the loadout ini has some minor changes for a couple of mission profiles. The data ini has had the landing light added, and (of course!) the canopy activated, via manual animation. Use shift/0 to open and close it.
      All 'standard' Skyhawk mission profiles are retained.
      The avionics hump has been converted to a 'pilot seat' using the fake pilot method (the FakePilot is also supplied, just in case). The mid fuselage upper light position has been adjusted to match that on the hump.
      A new SF2 style hangar screen jpg is also included
      Decal randomization has been set to "TRUE", so be at least at whichever patch level gave this to us.

      As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them ....

      IMPORTANT NOTE:
      If you have the DLC A-4L from Third Wire, do NOT download this mod. It will cause major conflicts. They should not be mixed in any way!!!
      If you do NOT have the 3W DLC A-4L, this is safe for your use.

      -- Something for the WW2 ETO players --

      *This is a "Theatre Specific" release of Veltro2K's NEW!!! B-17E Flying Fortress Heavy Bomber. This package =ONLY= represents E-model Forts used in the ETO.*

      There is 1 skins/decal set in this pak:

      AAF42/43 - OD/NG representing aircraft as they first arrived in Theatre in June 42 (star/ball insignia, yellow outline). It is "representative" of the 97th BG (no particular squadron) before it was transfered to the Med. As such, it's an accurate depiction of early 8th AF heavy bomber squadrons, before squadron markings and color IDs were adopted (and the immenent arrival of the F model).

      The Skin is in jpg format. All new (theatre specific) serial number decals were created. The serials ARE historically accurate (100%), and matched to the appropriate nose arts.
      All markings are decals. All lighting is historically correct. Damage textures are in DDS format.

      It should be noted, do =NOT= use this mod in an PTO-centric mods folder; European Forts have different operational dates than those in the Pacific.

      When in-game, you'll see:

      B-17E Flying Fortress (V2K)

      on the aircraft selection dropdown. While no other E models exist, this is simply done as a convenience.

    8. SF2 Post-WW2 P-38L Lightning, FAH & CAEC 5/14/2014

      - For SF2 (Any/All - Full 5 Merged Reccomended)

      == Post War Lightnings, Part 3, "Latin American Lightnings" ==

      * Note: will most likely NOT work in 1stGen SF/Wo*, with out some modifications/tweeking. Use in 1stGen games has not, and cannot, be tested by me *

      This is a revamp of Spitwulf's 1stGen Post-WW2 Latin American P-38 Lightnings. It is based on Wolf257's Lightning. This pack contains 2 complete aircaft, updated (as much is as possible) for SF2 usage. All sounds, weapons and a pilot figure are included. Guns you should already have.

      In this pack, you have

      P-38L, Honduran Air Force (FAH)

      P-38L, Cuban Army Avaition Corp (CAEC)

      The NEW skins, in jpg format, was created (now with rivets!). All Spitwulf's original decals were reused, excepting the national markings, which use stock 3W decals. All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE.

      Please take note, even with randomizaion, you only have serials for 6-7 aircraft, as is historically correct. You =WILL= run out of numbers. Unfortunately, that's just the way it is.

      When in-game, you'll see:

      P-38L Lightning (FAH) (w)

      P-38L Lightning (Cuba) (w)

      on the aircraft dropdown menu. The (W) is for Wolf, diferentiating this P-38 from any others you may (or may not) have.

      As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please =READ= them!!!.
      Spitwulf and Wolf257's original readmes are included in each of the aircraft's main folders.

    9. SF2 Carrier and Campaign Mod Readme

      This mod adds a carrier to the stock SF2 campaigns, as well as places USN and some of the USMC squadrons in those campaigns on the carrier. Additionally, if you have a merged install with SF2V, SF2E, and SF2NA, you can add F-8's and A-7's to the stock campaigns and a new 1978 campaign with A-7's, F-15's, HarrierGR3's, F-14's, and A-10's as well.

      Requirements:
      SF2 and SF2V (for the carriers) are required. SF2E and SF2NA are optional but recommended.

      To install:

      1. Drag the "campaigns" folder into your mod folder.

      2. If you already have modified desert_targets.ini in your SF2/Terrains/Desert folder, skip to the next step. If you do not already have modified desert_targets.ini, extract Desert.ini and Desert_targets.ini from Desert.CAT (in the main game folder) using the SF2 .cat extractor. Create a 'Terrains' folder in your SF2 mod foler and create a 'Desert' folder inside that one. Place the extracted Desert.ini and Desert_targets.ini in that folder.

      3. Add the following to the bottom of desert_targets.ini:

      [TargetAreaXXX]
      Name=Whiskey Station
      Position=550000,600000
      Radius=5657
      ActiveYear=0
      Location=3
      Alignment=FRIENDLY
      CarrierStation=TRUE

      Make sure 'XXX' in the [TargetAreaXXX] is the next number following the target area above where you pasted the entry.

      4. That's it!

    10. The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress is a four-engine heavy bomber aircraft developed in the 1930s for the United States Army Air Corps (USAAC). Competing against Douglas and Martin for a contract to build 200 bombers, the Boeing entry outperformed both competitors and more than met the Air Corps' expectations. Although Boeing lost the contract because the prototype crashed, the Air Corps was so impressed with Boeing's design that they ordered 13 more B-17s for further evaluation. From its introduction in 1938, the B-17 Flying Fortress evolved through numerous design advances.

    13. this is a batch of squadron, wing and other patches i've used in the last year to enhance some of my mods. all are named for the unit they represent, names will likely have to be changed in your own mods to fit what you're doing. feel free to use them on skins or tga.

      as the title implies, these are Cold War era markings. where i could find and or as applies, they will say TACTICAL Fighter Squadron. these are not just knockoffs from Wikipedia's title page for the different units.

      no readme, if i have copied someone elses file and not credited please let me know. however i am 99.9% certain this is all me phishing Google images over the course of a year.

      1. Update Notes
      ---------------
      This Update contains all the fixes from previous patches, and it can
      be applied to any version of the game. Earlier patches do not need
      to be applied.
      This Update also raises the mimimum system requirement for the game to
      the following:
      OS: Windows 2000/XP
      Processor: 1.0 GHz
      Memory: 1.0 GB RAM
      Hard Drive: 1.5 GB free space
      Video Card: 128 MB DirectX 9.0c
      After installing this Update, the game may require newer version of
      DirectX to run correctly. Please visit the Microsoft website at
      http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=2da43d38-db71-4c1b-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3
      to download and install the latest version of DirectX.
      We highly recommend you install this update over a clean install of
      the game - uninstall the game first, manually delete the folder to
      remove any mods not uninstalled, reinstall the game from original CD,
      then apply the Update.
      Many previous mods are not fully compatible with this Update. If
      you find any mods not working correctly, please check with mod-makers
      to provide you with updated version of their mods.
      List of changes in this Update include:
      Oct 2008

      names instead of just squadron.

      * Guided bombs, when EASY Weapons Effectiveness Option selected, are
      made to hit their target easier.
      * Autopilot maintains level flight better.
      Sep 2008

      are selected.
