    2. Turkish Air Force was one of the prominent F-4 users with approximately 233 aircraft. The original order for F-4’s was 40 aircraft with the first being delivered in August 1974. In 1981 F-4E 66-0312 was delivered to the THK and with reorganization of Filo’s (squadrons) and its aircraft this F-4 became the property of 172nd Filo “Sahin”. In early 1990’s 172nd Filo was one of 3 squadrons assigned to the 2nd Tactical Air Force, 7 Ana Jet Us (Jet Air Base), Erhac-Malataya. With this reorganization the 172nd Filo became an interception squadron. In April 2009 172nd Filo was disbanded in anticipation of the arrival of the new F-35 Lightning II. To mark the occasion F-4E 66-0312 was given this special paint scheme “Kara Sahin” (Black Falcon - Black Hawk).

    4. RED SIDE STANDARD WEAPONS PACK 0.90 Beta
      ========================================

This is a public test version, currently contains only AAM type weaponry. Full version will follow soon. Please try out equipment playing from both sides. AI vs AI combat is also to be observed. Note that missile perfomance is also affected by the launch platform's radar capabilities. You may have to edit your respective launch platform's plane data.ini in case of any weapon not appearing on the loadout menu. Contact me if help needed.
About 1000+ launch tests have been done per missile against planes with various maneuverability with or without CM at low and high altitude. Ballistics have been also checked with HoneyFox's Missile Range Simulator.

      Introduction:
      -------------
Red Side Standard Weapons Pack (RSSW) is a standardized, simplified weapons pack for eastern bloc aircraft ordnance. The pack includes weaponry from a time frame from 1950 to 2000.
The main effort was to provide both users and modders with a stable and well organized collection of on-board weapons. With standardized references, station-specific entries and names there is no need for modders to include weapon files for the aircraft they have made and it is also more easy to construct proper stations and loadout arrangements.
Using multiple reference materials (both english an russian) we tried to fine tune the effectiveness of all the weaponry for satisfactory red-side player game experience while keeping
as much realism as possible. This also provides more challenge playing on the blue side. We did not yet apply general changes to blue side weaponry (like the Rear60 IRM fix) some weapons may appear more capable than their blue side counterparts. Even though RSSW was designed to improve red side player experience and flyable aircraft, we will of course apply these changes to blue side to keep a balance challenge level.
Effectiveness for guided weapons have been tuned to provide realistic hit rate within the proper launch requirements. Because of game limitations, this means some technical parameters and values may be different from real world data.
We kept as much stock reference as we could to provide compatibility with original game standard (Naming, Types, Loadout ID, etc)

      Installation:
      -------------
Extract the files into the respective "Addon" Folder on your system. It is advised, to install it into a fresh (cleaned up) Weapons folder.
This weapon pack will overwrite almost all soviet type ordnance including stock ones. RSSW compatible plane addons and their loadouts have been constructed to use RSSW weapon specifications, regarding StationSpecific entries, size, weight, diameter and availability dates. Because of that, remaining previous versions of soviet type ordnance may cause problems in loadout appearing with these planes.

    7. SF2 F-4 Loadout by malibu43

This package contains updated loadout.ini files for all the stock F-4's in the SF2 series. They are based off of real world loadouts from various conflicts (especially Vietnam), but are not 100% accurate. This is due to a few things:

1.Did not want to do anything that required editing aircraft's data.ini files. With all the patches and updating going on, it could turn into a nightmare to keep updated.

2.It uses mostly stock weapons (only one additional weapon is included). This pack is meant to be enjoyable in a stock install. I didn't want to require users to download all kinds of weapons or weapons packs. It's extra work and it also can make the mod harder to keep updated (see #1).

3.The loadouts may vary from real world examples to make them more useful in the fictional TW world. For example, CAS loadouts in Vietnam utilized munitions that were effective against groups of troops in the jungle (napalm, rockets, etc...). F-4's in SF2E or SF2 (or even stock SF2V for that matter) will be facing massive columns of enemy tanks advancing across open fields. Therefore, these loadouts are more likely to use CBU's, Rockeyes, and AGM-65's. Another good example is most of the stock USAF F-4's carrying ARM's for SEAD in these loadouts. That didn't happen in real life, but we don't have F-4G's so I let it go so that some form of effective SEAD still happens.

So, these loadouts will be usefull in an SF2 install that doesn't already have more accurate F-4 loadouts added. For example, I wouldn't use these in place of the F-4 loadouts in the SF2V A/G Exp Pack. Those loadouts have already been set up to be accurate for the specific conflict that pack is representing.

      Some examples of the changes:
      - Wing tanks and gun pods not used on USN F-4's
      - USAF, IAF, UK, and German F-4's don't carry AIM-9's when A/G munitions are carried on that pylon
      - USMC nation specific loadouts for F-4B's and J's. (with gun pods and zuni's)
      - Triple LAU-3 loadouts for USMC F-4's. These are selectable via the mission editor.
      - Gun pods not part of the default loadouts for F-4M before 1975.
      - Additional strike loadouts for USAF and IAF F-4's that utilize asymetric loadouts with LGB's and Laser Pods. These are selectable via the mission editor.
      - Additional loadouts for UK F-4's that include BL755's, 540lbGP bombs, and "triple Matra" rocket pod loadouts. These are selectable via the mission editor.
      - etc...

      Installation.

      1. Copy the contents of the Aircraft folder into the Aircraft folder in your SF2 Mod directory (if you don't know what that is, check the Knowledg Base section at combatace.com).

Note: If you don't have a merged install with all 6 titles, check you aircraft folder to see what F-4's are installed and only copy the corresponding folders from this .rar file. If you copy all of them, you won't have any issues, but it may be confusing to look in your aircraft folder and see aircraft that aren't actually installed.

      2. Copy the contents of the Weapons folder into the Weapons folder in your SF2 Mod directory.

      3. If you have the TW DLC F-4N or the 3rd party F-4S available at combatace, the "Optional" folder has loadouts for them as well.

      Known issues:

      - The "triple rocket pod" load outs for USMC and RAF F-4's load extra rocket pods on the sidewinder stations instead of a TER. This is a work around since loading rocket pods on a TER is not possible at this point without extension data.ini editing, and I didn't want to do that in the interest of keeping this mod simple.

    8. SAAB 21

The SAAB 21 was a Swedish fighter/attack aircraft from SAAB that first took to the air in 1943. It was described as a very efficient
weapons platform. It was designed as a twin boom pusher configuration, where the propeller is mounted in the rear of the fuselage,
      pushing the aircraft forward.

Sweden wished to ensure its continued neutrality through a policy of armed strength during World War II but were effectively
denied access to foreign weapons. The original design studies began in 1939, based around the use of a "buried" Bristol
Taurus engine. The project remained dormant until 1941. In response to the need for air defence, and faced with the prospect
of imported designs being unavailable due to the war, Sweden undertook an indigenous rearmament programme including an
advanced fighter. The low-wing monoplane Saab 21 fighter was ultimately designed around a license-produced version of the
Daimler-Benz DB 605B engine, featured innovations such as tricycle landing gear, heavy forward-firing armament, ejector seat,
and a twin-boom pusher layout that later allowed the type to be modified with a turbojet engine.

The advantages of a pusher design, are that the view forward is unobstructed and armament can be concentrated in the nose,
while a major drawback is difficulty in escaping from the aircraft in an emergency, as the pilot could get drawn into the propeller
blades. SAAB deliberated between systems that would eject the pilot, or jettison the propeller or the engine, (via a system of
explosive bolts). and eventually installed an early ejector seat developed by Bofors for the purpose and tested in 1943.

In 1947, the aircraft was extensively redesigned with over 50% airframe, tailplane and wing changes and fitted with a de Havilland
Goblin turbojet, acquiring the new designation Saab J 21R.
