    7. This is an alternate generic US skin for people who are bored with the standard
bluey grey scheme on the F-16.
This is basically an altered version of my Top Gun aggressor skin below - so is not entirely
realistic - but even I can have fun sometimes :)

      size: 1024x1024
      Tested on:

      F-16C Block 30 (folder:F-16C_B30)
      F-16C Block 50 (folder:F-16C_B50)
      F-16C Block 52 (folder:F-16C_B52)

May work on others with similar templates though does not work on the F16A Block 10 (F-16A_10) - (the tail goes screwy)

Please read the README file to ensure the decals are installed properly.

Many thanks to all involved in the F-16 project (Viper team) and for the templates.
Also for the NSAWC3 skin author which gave me ideas for the wing lines

Only tested in SFG but should also work in WoE/WOV/SFP1

    8. This is a skin for the F-16A Aggressor, and F-16N Aggressor US Navy aircraft.
Although there are a few of these about this has a new pattern based on photos in the F-16.net database - In particular:

      http://www.f-16.net/gallery_item40595.html

In real life its only the F-16A but as the template fits it may as well go on the N as well :)

I just like the colour scheme basically!

In order to minimize the size of the download package, I have converted all the pictures to JPEG format.

** YOU WILL NEED TO CONVERT THEM TO BITMAP (.bmp) BEFORE THE GAME CAN USE THEM!**
There are many free programs that can do this, such as IrfanView.

** YOU WILL NEED TO RENAME THE FILES TO REMOVE THE ENDING "_#"!**
(Example: "FA-18A_LOADING_7.bmp" will need the "_7" removed so it becomes "FA-18A_LOADING.bmp")

Once converted and renamed, simply copy the desired file to the \Objects\Aircraft\FA-18A folder.

    11. This expands the 1979 Red Lightning campaign to include:

1.) SPECAT Jaguar for the RAF; you'll need the addon.
2.) F-111A Aardvark for the USAAF You'll need the F-111A Pack. Sadly, the default german map doesn't extend to england, which is where the F-111A was based, so it's not totally realistic.
      2.) Adds the VVS, with MiG-23M, MiG-27, MiG-21MF, and Su-7BM
3.) Adds the East German AF, two units, MiG-21MF and Su-7BM
4.) Adds the Polish AF, two units, MiG-21MF and Su-7BM
5.) Adds a description of what plane each squadron flies, no more guessing!

I thought about adding carrier operations, but the map was too limited for a carrier, and secondly, the USN in WW3 would be involved with keeping the sea lanes open, and battling the soviets in Norway, to worry about the central front.

    12. This skin is intended for use with the MDD F/A-18A add-on from the Mirage Factory and Flying Toaster.
It is the CAG (Commander Air Group) colors for the VMFA(AW)-242 "Bats" squadron.

The actual squadron really uses the F/A-18D two-seater "Night Hornet". Even though we don't currently have a twin-seat Hornet model, I decided the paint scheme was just too neat looking to wait! (when we do, I'll update this skin)

Just drop the VMFA242CAG folder into your FA-18A folder and go flying!

    18. This skin is intended for use with the MDD F/A-18A add-on from the Mirage Factory and Flying Toaster.
It is a scheme worn by one of the Hornets of VMFA-312 "Checkerboards". This scheme was the creation of Sgt. David A. Sorenson of VMFA-312 and appears to get its inspiration from the earlier splinter schemes created by aviation artist Keith Ferris.

    20. This skin is intended for use with the MDD F/A-18A add-on from the Mirage Factory and Flying Toaster.
It is a scheme worn by a couple of F/A-18As from VMFA-115 "Silver eagels". the scheme has changes a few times over the past couple of years (the a/c number changed from 200 to 201 when the squadron rotated to land-based); this is a representation of a later version which includes the wing stripes. The name on the speed brake is Capt “Puj” Hooks. It is in memory of former pilot Capt. Franklin Hooks II, assigned to the “Silver Eagles”, who died in 2004.

    21. This set of templates is for the excellent MDD F/A-18A Hornet add-on aircraft by The Mirage Factory and Flying Toaster. It was made using the original textures by Column5 as a guide. While I replaced most of the skins, there are some parts taken directly from the originals, such as the landing gear legs, slimers and a couple of other mechanical bits.

      Updated or enhanced:
      New wheels (from photos)
New Landing gear and airbrake wells/doors
      New exhausts (afterburner from photo)
      New cockpit/instruments (from photos)
Many corrected or added panel lines and rivets

Feel free to make as many skins as you'd like with these templates, but please leave the credits layer intact.

This template pack may not be used in payware without express permission from myself and Column5.

    23. This skin is intended for use with the MDD F/A-18A add-on from the Mirage Factory and Flying Toaster.
It is a representation of an F/A-18A from VFA-204 "River Rattlers". I was inspired to make this skin by seeing one of the planes at an airshow. The pilot names are all actual pilots' names (former squadron commanders), though the callsigns are fictional.

    24. F-86K (Early Model) Sabre by Bunyap, Fubar512.
      Skins by USAFMTL and Sundowner.
      Original 3D model by Zur.

This is the early F-86K (pre ser number 56-4116) with the narrow chord wing. Later Ks had the extended F-40 wing and earlier ones were retrofitted. I'll have those when the L is done...

Put the plane in your aircraft folder. The skins are semi accurate based on the vague info I have on the K models of W Germany and Italy. Sleepy Sweeper is going to hook up the Norwegian Kilos. ( I think)

Make sure you have the latest wep pack to get the F-86 drop tanks.

Also in an update to the F-86D-45 which fixes the lights postions. Put that file in your main F-86D-45 folder and overwrite.
