    1. SF2 WW2 PTO B-25G Mitchell, 823rd BS Replacement Skin 7/29/2014

-- Something for the WW2 PTO players --

      = For SF2 ONLY, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

First off, my apologies to everyone, especially Veltro2K. When I sent the original B-25G package to him, I'd used the "blank" skin, without the squadron specific marking for the 823rd BS.

THIS skin will replace the original one in that package. It now carries the correct color markings on the tail and cowlings for the "Tigers".
Also included, just for fun, is a extra unmarked skin, named "blank-b-25g.jpg", without any markings for other texture artists to use in creating other units, if they wish.
This replacement skin is exactly the same, so no adjustments to the decals or anything else will be required.

Installation is simple: just unzip the archive, and drop into you PTO mods folder, or where ever you've installed the B-25G (mind you, this =IS= a PTO specific skin!!)

      Again, my apologies.

      Good Hunting!

    2. These three models represent the Type 053H2 Jianghu-III class, Type 053H2G Jiangwei-I class, and Type 053H3 Jiangwei-II class frigates, in service with the People's Liberation Army Navy. The Jiangwei series frigates were developed from the earlier Jianghu series, with the Jianghu-III being a transitional design, and are considered to be China's first true multi-role frigates.

All necessary sounds, guns, and weapons are included in this package. Hull number decals and helicopter support are not featured, as these ships are meant to be used as OPFOR units, but they can be released on request.

Note: This model has been updated for full compatibility with SF2:NA.

If you have any questions, comments, concerns, or constructive criticisms regarding this model, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you!

    3. SF2 WW2 PTO PBJ-1H Mitchell (USMC) "Gunship" Pak by Veltro2K 7/20/2014

-- Something for the WW2 PTO players --

      = For SF2 ONLY, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

**Note: This mod references the stock destroyed Il-28. Also, due to modifications to various inis, this mod will probably -NOT- work in 1stGen game installs at any patch level. This has not/cannot be tested by me. Also, some SF2NA 'mission tasking' has been added, so SF2NA is pretty much a requirement.**

This is a "Theatre/Service Specific" release of Veltro2K's =NEW= B-25H Mitchell Medium Bomber. This represents those as used by the US Marines, as the PBJ-1H. This package WILL replace any other PBJ-1H mods you may (or may not) have. If you DO have the version I did based on the DAT's B-25H, you are advised to DELETE it, and it's associated decals folder completly. This =WILL= replace that one totally.

There are 1 skin/decals set(s) in the package:

      VMB-613

as used in the Central Pacific (Marshalls, Gilberts -which, unfortunately, we don't have a map for with ground bases..!- I'll put it on the 'to do' list) in 1944 thru the War's End. VMB-613 was the ONLY USMC squadron to be equipped totally with the H model Mitchell with the 75mm gun.

The skin is in jpg format,
All markings are decals, and Decal Randomization is TRUE. There ARE nose arts (ie: names), and all BuNums have been matched to their aircraft Modex number. As seen on the numberlst, those marked with a star (*) are 100% correctly matched to BuNum/Modex/Nose Art. Those named/displayed withOUT the star, could not be matched to their Modex/BuNum.

Included are Engine sounds, pilot figures, and a new Hangar screen. Operational service dates are rounded to 'whole months', and ARE relatively correct for in-theatre usage.
The 75mm gun is included; all other weapons you should have already. Also, provisions for mounting rockets, and the rockets themselves are included. The torpedo station remains active, although research has not turned up any squadrons using them operationally.
The guns have been grouped as follows:

      GunGroup=1 -- machine guns
      GunGroup=2 -- the Cannon

So, have keys set up accordingly

      When in game, you'll see:

      PBJ-1H Mitchell (v2k)

on the Aircraft Selection Drop down menu. This will differentiate it from any other Marine Mitchells you may (or may not) have.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! Also, see if you can spot the Easter Egg ™.

      Happy Landings!!

    4. SF2 WW2 B-25B Mitchell Pak by Veltro2K 7/25/2014

This has not/cannot be tested by me.**

This is a release of Veltro2K's =NEW= B-25B Mitchell Medium Bomber. This represents the first version (nearly) combat ready, as seen in the last half of 1941 through April, 1942. As such, this version really did not see any wartime action, with one major exception. They were mostly used on costal patrols in the Pacific Northwest. RAF versions (Mitchell Mk.I) were used in training, at bases in the Bahamas.

There are 2 skin/decals set(s) in the package:

34th BS, 17th BG "Thunderbirds", McChord Field, WA (circa 1941)
Doolittle Radiers (16 aircraft, April, 1942)

The skin is in jpg format,
All markings are decals. All lighting is historically correct. Damage textures are in DDS format.
There are nose arts (matched as best as possible from many sources -including the movie), on the Raider's skin, assigned to their historical aircraft. The serials on the 34th are some generic and some historical, as the Raiders pulled crews and aircraft from the squadrons of the 17th BG.
Engine sounds, pilot figures, new Hangar & Loading screen are included. Operational service dates are rounded to 'whole months'. But be advised, I've given it a VERY short service life, as the C/D models were already entering service after January 1, 1942. Again, the B model would have been relagated to training and coastal patrol squadron around the USofA.

      When in game, you'll see
      B-25B Mitchell (v2k)

on the Aircraft Selection Drop down menu. This will differentiate it from any other B-25s you may (or may not) have.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! PLEASE read the "Notes" section for other important notations.

    8. The North American B-25 Mitchell was an American twin-engined medium bomber manufactured by North American Aviation. It was used by many Allied air forces, in every theater of World War II, as well as many other air forces after the war ended, and saw service across four decades.
