SF2 Boeing C-97 Cargo & HC-97 ARS Pak 10/16/2015
= For SF2 (Full 4 Merged or Full 5 RECCOMENDED) =
This package contains 2 complete aircraft and skin/decal sets for cargo-carrying C-97s (of all marks, as their differences are negligible), and a version used by Air Rescue Service (later ARRS)
Included are:
C-97G (can be used for any cargo variant -A,B,C,D,E,F,G)
MATS (generic)
MAC (115th ATS (H), 146th ATW, Caifornia ANG)
HC-97G:
303rd Aerospace Rescue & Recovery Squadron
The SF2 date switch is used on the skins for the C-97, switching from MATS to MAC in 1961.
Serial numbers, while generic in nature, ARE for the model depicted (KC-97G). 18 serial decals are included. Decal randomization is true. All markings are decals (excepting the HC-97's wing tips).
Damage texture is in DDS. A template is included in a seperate folder, but was only partly redone for those areas I need to repaint. Skinners are encouraged to improve and expand on it. In the C-97's decals folder, you'll also find the psd to create the "nose lozenge" that carried the last 4 digits of the serial number. This style is/was used on a great number of other MATS/MAC aircraft.
Crew entry door is operated by the Standard Animation Keystroke , Shift/0 (zero). The rear cargo door & Loading ramps are operated by the standard bomb bay keystroke (Control/o (oh).
As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them ....
Happy Landings

new, corrected hit boxes
adding missing components, reassigned systems to 'new' component
By Wrench425 0 -
The package contains new data inis for the C-97 & HC-97 Stratofreighter. This new inis have all new adjusted hit boxes, the addition of missing or (previously) unnamed components, and the re-arrangement of systems to the new components.
The aircraft package itself has also been updated for those that haven't downloaded these aircraft yet. Existing users will NOT have to re-download the entire package. THIS set is designed for that update/upgrade.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Simply unzip, as always reccomended, to a temp folder or your desktop. Then, copy/Paste, move, however you wish to, the included /Objects folder directly OVER the existing Objects folder in whichever SF2 mods folder you have these aircraft installed to. Allow the Overwrite. A back-up copy of the original data ini for both aircraft is included, so no need to back up you originals.
Enjoy!

SF2 Douglas C-54 Skymaster by Veltro2K 9/23/2013
= For SF2, Full 5 Merged RECCOMENDED! =
This the release of the Veltro2k's WW2 & Post-War US Cargo aircraft, made most famous by it's use during the Berlin Airlift.
It is REQUIRED that you have some measure of SF2, merged to whatever level, as this mod references the stock An-12's destroyed model. Hence, the need (as I state it always) for a Full 5 Merged install. It is usable without, but you may not have the dead, burning wreckage on the ground. It has NOT been tested in 1stGen SF/Wo* at any patch level. It most likely will =NOT= work, due to LOD coding.
This pack includes the following 4 skins for the C-54:
OD/Grey, with 1942-43 'star-and-ball'
OD/Grey, late WW2 (late 43-later), 'star-and-bar'
Natural Metal, Late WW2, to late 1947 (pre-USAF formation)
"USAF", Natural Metal, post 0ctober 1947 (tagged with Military Air Transport badges star-bar w/red stripe).
The AvHistory engine is included.
Skins are in jpg format, and decal radomization is set to TRUE for all. ALL markings are decals. The damage textures are in DDS format. The template is included for other skinners (and in the hopes someone can clean up the mess I made of it!!
Each skin has it's own Hangar Screen, matching the paint job (more or less).
The cargo loading door/ramp opens and closes with the standard Bombay key (Control/0).
As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! Also, give the "Notes" section a read, in particular on operational usage, and the FM and other stuff like that there.
Happy Landings!

Gloster Meteor T.7
second improved version for SF2.
Basic modding skills are required to run this mod. (copy/paste, mod folder structure etc.)
Install:
If you are here which means that you like old jets, and for sure you downloaded the previous pack already.
You should have proper squadronlist.ini from the previous pack by paulopanz.
Fuel tanks- not to be afraid. Overwrite or just leave it. 100 gal tank is original TW tank. You can overwrite or just simply do not copy.
175 gal tank also.
Tanks are just ini files. Mod uses tanks that are part of aircraft lod.
This is highly modified Veltro2k model uploaded on CA somewhere in 2016 by paulopanz.
Some time ago few guys decided (because they have a chance to do so) to rework this pretty aircraft. So, first of all, thank you Veltro2k.
Although.
There is just very few original parts of an old model. Most of it was remodeled. Added bits here and there.
We changed mapping and we made new skins...and a lot of new stuff. You will see.
Of course, you could expect more skins. And if you are expecting more skins - you will have to do it on your own. But templates are available.
All skins are in 4096x4096 format. You can easily resize to needed resolution. better to downsize than rescale to higher res.
For sure Israeli Meteor will be uploaded someday soon. WIP.
Credits.
Veltro2k - original model
Me - model rework and some other mambo jumbo, hangars.
76.IAP-Blackbird - also model re-working.
Soulfreak - skins.
bobrock Weathering
Decals - soulfreak and some are borrowed from paulopanz pack.
Charles - original FM from original T.7 upload.
Pilots - I have no idea / don't remember who did it. All credit to him/her. - one of my favorites figures in a game - I've added this to correspond with the data file.
And yes the pack is huge - but we put a huge amount of work also.
Have fun
Report bugs.
Expect the unexpected

SF2 WW2 Spitfire Mk.VA by Coupi/Mod Mafia/TMF 5/10/2018
= For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =
*Note: This mod may not work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs at any patch level, due to the excessive modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment. End Users (tm) that attempt to do so, do so at their own risk.*
This is a modification of the TMF Spitfire MK.1A to the early VA version; this mark uses the "A" wing with 8 303 caliber machine guns.
This is the Vickers/Supermarine Spitfire Mk.VA. This pak contains skins/decal set for the following RAF Squadrons:
No. 92
There are 2 skins; one Dark Earth/Dark Green/Sky (pre-1942) and Medium Sea Gray/Dark Green/light grey for post-1942. The SF2 Date Switch is used to turn on the later skin in November, 1941
All skins are in jpg format, Decal Randomization is TRUE. Serial numbers, while not matched to plane-in-squadron letters, are all correct for Mk.Vs used by 92 Squadron. Those marked with a star (*) fall into the correct sequencing for those aircraft built as the 8-gunned Va version.
The canopy/entry door open with the Standard Animation Keystroke (tm), Shift/0. For those RAF Squadron listed in the game's SquadronList.ini, my 'fake sqtail' decal will activate their "Displayed Name" on the LoadoutScreen.
When 'in game', you'll see
"Spitfire Mk.Va (TMF)"
on the aircraft drop-down selection window. The Official Squadron Crest (tm) is used for the 'paint chip' for each skin.
As always, fairly easy to follow, highly detailed install instructions are included. So, please READ them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too for futher explinations, clarifactions, illuminations and so forth.
Good Hunting!
------------------------------------------------
=TO INSTALL:
As I always reccomend, unzip the "sf2_ww2_eto_spit5a_tmf_pak.zip" to a temp folder or your desktop or somewhere else that's easy to find
Then, simply, copy/paste the Objects folder supplied directly =OVER= your existing /Objects folder.
Copy/Paste the Sound folder over your existing /Sounds folder.
Odds are, you have the engine sound already, but I like to upload as complete as possible products
You'll probably be asked "OVERWRITE?", just say Yes.
I've already seperated out the various folders (Aircraft, Decals, etc), so they'll drop right where they're supposed to be.
----------------------------
Historically, No.164 Argentine-British also flew the Va. They used the "FJ" code on their aircraft. I'm sure there are other units, but haven't been able to run them down accurately. So, it's easier to just stay with No.92, as the Vb & c cannon armed versions were soon in service.
As this aircraft LOD lacks the hardpoints the Mk.V had, I've used the Fake Pilot Method (tm) to add ONLY the centerline station for a drop tank.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Credits:
Coupi for the idea and all major ini work (Many thanks to Wrench!!!)
Bpao for the aircraft
Kesselbrut for the cockpit
PappaRomeo for the modded EAW gunsight pak, the RAF Mk II used here
AVHistory for the Merlin engine sound
Me ("Bob") for some new serial decals and ini Work, and the MSG/DG skin
Sources:
I'm not even gonna try to find all my RAF Spit books....

Happy Hunting!

WW2 Allied Bombing Range - Final- 5/1/2018
- For SF2, Any & All (Full-4/5 Merged Reccomended)
**Please note, you should have SF2 for this terrain references many stock items from the Desert.cat.However, instructions are provided to use other terrain cats.***
This is a major overhaul of Several of the target areas on the Allied Bombing Range. This is designed =ONLY= for WW2 Allied usage. It can be used for practice by any and all of the Allied nations. There are a myriad of targets, both the old and newer ones, to hone you skills in level and dive bombing, strafing with guns and/or rockets (for those aircraft equipped). I intend THIS to be the Final Version.
It =WILL= replace all earlier versions of the Allied Bombing Range, so you'll need to backup, move/remove or delete any older version you may have.
Like the revamped modern range terrains, it has been retiled in an "IME" desert style with the addition of a water feature for anti-shipping. See "Change Log" in the Notes section for more details
As is reccomended, unzip this archive to a temp folder or your desktop, and you'll have access to the rest of the readme for it's instructions. It's reccomended you -READ- this document (THIS readme), expecially the "To Install" section, after unzipping, but =BEFORE= installing.
As always, the Notes and Other Nonesense section may make for entertaining reading.
Please also read the Standard Usage Discalimer, as it's been changed slightly to reflect a change in my policy. It's listed at the bottom, in the Legal Statement Section, with the URL back to the CA post.
Happy Hunting!

Xian FBC-1M for SF1
This is a simple mod of the excellent JH-7A/FBC-1 released by Insky many years ago to give a fictional export version in service with the Mongolian Air Force. This is released 'as is' and really needs a good Chinese weapons pack, something I don't have in my SF1 installs or simply download the JH-7A.
BACKSTORY
Under Soviet pressure at the end of World War Two, the Republic of China was obliged to formally accept Mongolian independence. However, following the Communists victory in the Chinese Civil War, the People's Republic of China warmly recognised Mongolia's independent status and established diplomatic relations with Mongolia during 1949. Although Mongolia aligned itself with the Soviet Union during the Cold War both nations patiently came to agreement on border disputes and by 1986 they had begun to establish trade agreements that paved the way for the 1988 treaty on border control and the 1994 treaty of friendship.
By 2002, China had become Mongolia's biggest trade partner and their largest source of foreign investment with China allowing the use of its Tianjin port to give Mongolia access to trade within the Asia Pacific region and, in return, giving China access to Mongolia's natural resources. In a move designed to bolster regional security China exported 20 Xian FBC-1 Flying Leopard fighter-bombers (the export version of the JH-7A) which entered service with the Mongolian Air Force in 2008.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Drop the FBC-1M folder into your Aircraft folder.
That's it!
CREDITS
Thanks to TK for a great little game/sim.
Thanks to Erwin_Hans for bringing the JH-7A to us back in 2009.
And special thanks to everyone in the wider Third Wire community.

SNR-125 'Low Blow' Sam radar object for SF2 series game. This is mostly eye candy stuff. Just to improve visual side of the game.
In this pack, you will find new objects. But no worries nothing needs to be overwritten.
Basic modding skills are required to run this mod. (copy/paste, mod folder structure etc.)
Mostly this mod is for modders, terrain builders.
As some radar settings need to be adjusted for proper working with your installs. Radar family/network type need to be adjusted and associated with your other SAM objects. SA-3 /S-125 family in this case.
Also, placement on terrains might be strange sometimes because of construction of the lod.
All ini files are beta....mostly to make the object working - rotate radar mast, bend etc. Station is set as SAM radar and is connected to SA-3 radar network
I'm hoping someone will do correct ini edits. Only if there are still some modders around here.....
So do not complain if something is not working- just edit your way. You have working lod and skins...
Basic skins green and tan.
All skins are in 2048x2048 format. So you have to resize for your own preferred size.
So play with it, and hope someone will do better ini for this.
