    3. BELL AH-1S(ECAS) COBRA Ver 1.9 for SF2

      This is a third party add on of the AH-1S(ECAS) / E Cobra using models and cockpits created by me.
      The original flight model is standard as on many free to download helicopters.
      I have just modified it a bit.
       
      It is designed for and works only in the SF2 series.
       
      WeaponPACK for this model is also included.

      This addon works only with included WeaponPACK. All of weapon stations are made as specific station code and will work only with this weapon pack.
       
      Standard commands for activating Cobra features:
       
      AIRBRAKES - sun filter/shader on off - just for fun no airbrakes so empty animation slot for use.
       
      ARRESTING HOOK - jump from pilot station to gunner station.
       
      LANDING GEAR - skid search light on/off at any speed. Dont forget to retract it because you wil be not able to shoot.
       
      A2A mode - gunner station TSU guncross for turret.
       
      A2Ground mode - pilot M73 cross.
       
      ANIMATION 8 - ammo bay dooors
       
      ANIMATION 9 - gunner door (ext and cockpit view)
       
      ANIMATION 10 - pilot door (ext and cockpit view)
       
      ANIMATION 1 - NVG (It is not nvg but some greent filter) If you don't like it disable it in cockpitini file.
       
      AH-1E was Step 2 upgrade program of Army Cobra. This variant was originally known as the „Up-Gun AH-1S or AH-1S(ECAS) – Enhanced Cobra Armament System. In this model Army Cobra featured the three -barell 20mm M197 automatic cannon mounted in XM97 universal turret. The AH-1E also featured an improved rocekt management system for 2.75 inch rockets, an improved sighting system, and a more powerful electrical generator to support all new systems. It has new 2nd version of flat plate canopy with bulged side glass panels. 98 new-built AH-1Es were delivered in 1978 and 1979. This was used only by US Army and NG. Plus six in basic configuration was ordered by Israel. Israel upgraded E to its own version of F model it will be part of different pack.
      Small changes in pit insturments compared to S(Prod)
      For take off: Around 75% of throttle vector - and then increase power to 70-85% (or more for quick lift) and pull controll stick little and snake will take off. Then reduce throttle vector as needed and reduce power to 69%. It should fly around 110kts now. 69% is about cruising speed.
      When on the ground you can see rotating blades for pitch and roll. Just additional and unnecesary thing (not visible so much when flying) but it is possible so it is there. Not working like i want but better then nothing.
       
      There are two different pylons on inboard stations one for rocketpods one for gunpods. Just to have a proper angle of fire with GP. It is not proper for real model but in my opinion best what can be done for SF engine. Rocket pods are ok with correct angle on inboard stations.
       
      NVG.
      Unfortunately there is no NVG in this game.
      I just added green "filter" to cockpit and you can activate it by default Animation 1 key.
      In external view ther will be little change in cockpit- unfortunately not moving with pilot/guner head.
      In copit view there is green glow and filter It is definitely not helping during night flight but this is beta version. Maybe one day real nvg will be possible here. If you dont like it disable it in cockpit.ini file. This feature apears only in National Guard 85 model and bonus,

      One generic carc green skin for three units. Not much individual paintings here.

      All serial numbers are proper for S(ECAS) / E model but am not sure if these numbers appeared in specific units.
      some seiral are taken from available photos and are matched to units. Some are just placeholders but are correct for model block buid.
       
      Weapons.
      Most of the weapon are same as in previous packs and are common to G/Q/S/P model.
      Including XM158 and M200 launchers.
      TOWs BGM-71A/B/C/D.
      There is additional optional Suppressed Exhaust loaded via weaponstation.
      Also here there is new M197 automatic cannon loaded via weaponstation.
       
      One more thing. I am using mostly standard weapon effects.
      Make sure to edit it your way if you decide to use this weapons.
       
      Pilots:
      I am using helopilots by OldDiego.
      Some pilots models might be too big for this helo.

      Hats off for their contribution to the community.
       
      It is an extraction of a much larger overall mod that has gone for years internal of our team. It is considered stable enough and deserve for a release up to date. The goal of this mod is to create an improved rain scene for SF2 titles.
       
      We have changed the 2 earlier mods on below field.
       
      1. straight rainfall with speed, no longer slashed
      2. removed the abnormal light surrounding aircraft on the ground when take off
      3. reduced much on particle consumption to have a bit more consistency on presence. Less chance to have rain stopped when explosion happened on ground.
      4. When speed pick up, the rain is less visible to represent reality.

      Drop everything in "Effects" folder.

    5. 3.3- Added F-15I_Raam decals folder as it occurred to me not everyone has that specific Raam decal folder name
       
      3.2-Fixed an error in the F-15I Ra'am's AIrcraftdata section and updated all variant's gross weight's thanks to Fanatic Modder bringing to my attention that the wing pylons weights were added twice to the aircraft's mass. Also more refinements to the AI statements for happy wingmen!
       
      3.0- Best update yet! Redone AI statements for all Strike Eagle Variants, your wingmen and all AI will finally be able to drop dumb bombs on target! Also fixes AI strafing runs and the Strike Eagles will be able to strafe ground targets with accuracy! Also added some nice hanger and loading screens to the F-15SG as some extra eye Candy! Enjoy your new wingies!
       
      Update 2.5-Fixed CBU Attack loadout! Updated FM even more! Suggestions always welcome!
       
      This is a FM and loadout enhancement package first started by Crusader to kinda bring the Strike Eagle family more up to date with recent advances in SF2 modding ability! This mod changes the order of release for the CFT weapon stations and allows for more customized loadouts in the loadout menu before a mission. These changes along with a new STRIKE loadout of MK82's allows the AI to more easily hit a target. The FM changes are just updates to the FM and more realistic gross weights/Loaded weights etc and should help the AI better manage Flying the Strike Eagle and all its variants. Small updates were also made to the LANTIRN systems of all the jets. Also is an updated F-15i skin touched up by me. This pack covers the F-15 Strike Eagle variants from FastCargo's F-15 Super Pack including the

      F-15E_04
      F-15I
      F-15K
      F-15S
      and F-15SG
       
      Now we just need a new strike eagle cockpit!

    6. F-16E and E Block 60 Desert Falcon's redone!
      I uploaded a older E/F pack that was pretty awful to be honest here is a much better redo!
      Made using the Block 50/52 models now to make it look better in general as well as some updates to the skin!
       
      Built using the Greek and Turkish F-16's as a base so if you have those the E/F should work just fine! You should already have all the weapons and sounds from earlier F-16 packs! Happy Hunting in the Gulf!

    7. RED SIDE STANDARD SA-2 Guideline Pack 0.30 Beta

      This is a public test version. Please try out equipment playing from both sides. This pack has been tested against stock planes on stock terrain. Mostly on VietnamSE due SAM site density and fast loading time :)
      About 1000+ launch tests have been done on planes with various types with or without jamming equipment at low and high altitude. Ballistics have been also checked with HoneyFox's Missile Range Simulator.
       
      Introduction:
      -------------
      To follow the philosophy behind Red Side Standard Weapons Pack (RSSW) I made an attempt to standardize the SAM systems as well. The first of such, the SA-2 Guideline or System-75 family.
      Using multiple reference materials (both english an russian) we tried to fine tune the effectiveness of all the weaponry for satisfactory player game experience while keeping as much realism as possible. This provides more challenge playing on the blue side.
      Effectiveness for guided missiles and radars have been tuned to provide realistic hit rate within the proper launch requirements. Because of game limitations, this means some technical parameters and values may be different from real world data.
      We kept as much stock reference as we could to provide compatibility with original game standard (Naming, Types, etc).
      Yet, there are no new ground objects included, but many new equipment is WIP for the final version.

      - The latest 3D models of the SA-2 family missiles from Spillone104 with thoroughly revised characteristics (FM, Guidance, Ballistics etc)
      - Weapon (and folder) names use common standard for convenience, clarity and simplified looks

      - All missiles have been changed from Beam Rider to SAHM guidance, as a work around the faulty "tail chasing" game logic also present with Rear60 IR seeking missiles. Also, "Beam Rider" guidance does not allow lead targeting of the missile.
      - All Fan Song radars have been set to their instrumented range, now it is fully up to the RCS, altitude and noise jamming values to determine the range of detection.
      - Target tracking range has been made equal to the search range - what the Fan Song can see can track immediately - launch is still limited by the missile parameters.

      Two new versions of the Falklands/Malvinas terrain.
       
      Hopefully most of the issues with the original are now sorted, coast lines have needed to be changed here and there and the terrain itself is much more uneven with more pronounced hills and mountains, two seasonal variations are included.
       
      Please read the readme....it really does have some useful stuff in it.
