Yakovlev Yak-130F for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2
This is a simple mod of the Yak-130 by UllyB to create a fictional Yak-130F in service with the Finnish Ilmavoimat in the 2016-2030 timeline.
BACKSTORY
At the end of the Cold War the Finnish Air Force relaxed it's policy of alternating it's combat aircraft purchases between Soviet and Western types and replaced both the Saab Draken and the MiG-21 with American F-18C and D Hornets with the F-18C's being assembled by Valmet in Finland. Soon after Finland declared that all the provisions of the Paris Peace Treaties, including those limiting the size and scope of it's armed forces, were nullified. This closed the door on Russian exports to Finland until September 2011 when, unexpectedly, the Libyan National Transitional Council cancelled Libya's order for six Yak-130 advanced jet trainers. Almost immediately, the Russian Government instructed the Irkut Corporation to offer these aircraft to Finland at a discounted and allegedly heavily subsidised price.
The six Yak-130's were delivered to the Finnish Air Force Academy in Tikkakoski with the first aircraft arriving in November 2012. Finnish Air Force officials were so impressed with the Yak-130 that they recommended to the Finnish Ministry of Defence to make a further purchase of the Yak-130 but specifically tailored to the light attack role and with the benefit of reducing the number of aircraft required for the Hornet replacement programme (later re-named as the HX Fighter Program). With input from the Irkut Corporation and the Finnish Air Force a new export version of the Yak-130 was quickly drafted and offered to the Finnish Government as the Yak-130F (F=Finlyandiya). In March 2013 Finland ordered 14 Yak-130F's for delivery during 2015 and 2016. Entering service with the newly re-formed Fighter Squadron 21 at Pirkkala in May 2016 the aircraft operate in the light attack role with a recent upgrade allowing them to use GBU-32 and GBU-38 precision guided munitions.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the Yak-130F folder into your Aircraft folder.
2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the Yak-130F folder into your Decals folder.
3. From the WEAPONS folder drag and drop all files into your Weapons folder. This simply adds some weapons to give you the loadout I've chosen but you can select whatever you want.
That's it!

McDonnell Douglas F-4DA Phantom (Argentina) for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2
This is a simple mod of the stock Third Wire F-4D to create a fictional F-4DA in service with the Argentine Air Force in the 1979-2010 timeline.
BACKSTORY
During the early 1960's the Fuerza Aérea Argentina (FAA) began an ambitious plan to replace the F-86F Sabre then in service as their main interceptor-fighter. The British English Electric Lightning was briefly considered but was quickly dismissed on account of it's very short range. The Swedish Saab Draken was successfully evaluated and FAA pilots submitted a very favourable report as was the French Dassault Mirage III and it seemed likely that a decision would be made between these two competing aircraft. However, the end of the Frondizi government in 1962 and the subsequent turmoil over the next few years saw the FAA's plans put on hold but the Israeli's successful use of the Mirage III in the 1967 Six-Day War saw the FAA finally decide on the French aircraft. However negotiations with the French Government came to an abrupt end in May 1968 when Juan Carlos Onganía, fearful of a coup d'état, dismissed the leaders of the Armed Forces and cancelled the Mirage order.
The 1973 elections (the first general elections for ten years) saw Dr. Hector Cámpora elected as President with a campaign based on a platform of national reconstruction. For the FAA this meant that it's F-86 replacement plans could finally continue but with an aircraft from an unexpected source. Despite the turmoil of Argentina's recent history, the US State Department saw Argentina as a bulwark of anti-Communism in South America and US President Richard Nixon sanctioned the export of 28 ex-USAF F-4D's with deliveries to Grupo 4 de Caza starting in August 1973 and deliveries to Grupo 8 de Caza starting in January 1974. The 1976 US Presidential elections saw incoming President Jimmy Carter highlight issues of human rights and eventually secure a congressional cutoff of all US arms transfers to Argentina and the FAA found it increasingly hard to support Phantom operations except by clandestine support. The FAA used the Phantom during the 1982 Guerra de las Malvinas as a long-range strike aircraft but the FAA's lack of aerial refueling capability and the long distance from their bases dramatically reduced their ability. After 1982 the FAA's Phantom force was increasingly supported by Israel Aircraft Industries and although no additional aircraft could be sourced the remaining 17 aircraft remained in service until 2010.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the F-4DA folder into your Aircraft folder.
2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the F-4DA folder into your Decals folder.
That's it! For Argentine weapons I recommend you get them from the excellent SF2 Falklands Mod (Redux) by eburger68.
CREDITS
As always, thanks to Third Wire for a great little game/sim.

SF2 Lockheed C-121G/R7V-1 Super Constellation Pack 5/2/2020
-For SF2, Any and All (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended)
"Quarantine Approved - Essential Mods"
This package contains a new aircraft, with 4 skin/decal sets, the Lockheed C-121G of the USAF & R7V-1 of the US Navy. These represent the Super Constellation cargo/transport versions as used by both services. This mod is based of the RC/EC-121 by RussoUK
The 4 skins included use the SF2 "date switch" to activate when needed. Most markings are decals, with the exception of (more than a few) painted on markings. All serial/Bunums are 100% historically accurate, but I was unable to attach specific ones to their units. With only 50-odd aircraft ever built, this isn't really a problem. They ARE assigned to their actual US military services (Navy or Air Force). Decal randomization is TRUE. All skins are in jpg format. Sounds, pilot figures, etc are included. Each skin has their own individual Hangar Screen. A 'box art' style Loading Screen is also included. It should also be noted, these are NEW skins, by me, modified/adapted from the existing ones in the C-121/WV-2s previously released.
Inside you'll find:
USAF C-121G:
1501st Air Transport Group, (MATS) c.1954, NMF/White uppers, Travis AFB
"MAC" -unknown unit-, c.1966, NMF/W
USN R7V-2/C-121J:
VR-1 "Starlifters" c.1954, NMF overall, NAS Patuxent River
VR-7 "Seahorses" c.1960, NMF/White uppers, NAS Moffat Field
When in game, on the Aircraft Selection Drop down menu, you'll see:
C-121G/R7V-1 Super Constellation (R)
This will differentiate it from any other military Constellations that may (or may not) be available. The "R" stands for RussoUK, the model maker. Please note, the "R7V-1" designation was changed to "C-121J" in 1962 under SecDef McNamara's overhaul of the military numbering conventions.
As is always recommended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions.
Happy Landings!

SF2 Bell TH1-L Huey Remod Pack 4/30/2021
-For SF2 =ONLY= (Full 4/5 Merged Recommended)
This is an update/remod back of the TH1-L Huey trainer as used by Helicopter Training Squadron 18 (HT-18) "Vigilant Eagles" from 1969 thru 1998(ish). The original SF1 upload, from 2005, has recieved something of an overhaul, mostly to the skin, and now with the addition of 100% historical BuNum (serials) and Modex/pennant numbers.
Extensive research has allowed me to run down the full 45 aircraft production run, as used by both HT-8 and HT-18. All serials are 100% historically correct. when possible, they have been matched to their Modex/Pennant numbers. Those with the star (*) on the Number list are positives matches. Those without the star, could not be matched to a specific Modex.
This is the full aircraft, with all necessary parts included (sounds, pilots, etc). A new Hangar Screen was created, as well as damage tgas and the addition of a destroyed model. The data ini has had the hit boxes corrected. The FM itself remains untouched from it's original "as issued" state. Be advised of continuing issues with helo FMs in SF2. The Standard Animation Keystroke (tm), shift/0 (zero) opens the sliding cabin doors.
When in game, on the aircraft selection drop down you'll see:
TH-1L Huey
As is always recommended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. PLEASE read them, before installing!!! The full Change Log is also in the "Notes" section. The original release readme from 2005 is also included, for historical purposes.
Happy Landings!

YAK-130 (NATO code name MITTEN) by UllyB
May 1st 2021/ver 1.0

The Yak-130 combat trainer was selected as the winner of the trainer competition of the Voyenno Vozdushnyye Sily, Russian Federation Air Force, in April 2002. The aircraft is also actively marketed for export by Yakovlev, the Irkut company, and by Rosoboronexport.
The Russian Air Force has a future requirement for 300 Yak-130 aircraft that can be deployed as a light strike aircraft or as a trainer for a range of fourth or fifth-generation fighters. An order was placed for the first 12 aircraft to replace ageing Aero Vodochody L-39 Albatros in 2002.
The aircraft entered service in the Russian Federation Air Force at the military pilot training academy in Krasnodar in July 2009 and was showcased in the MAKS 2009 air show. The production line for the aircraft at the Aviation Plant Sokol in Nizhny Novgorod, known as NAZ Sokol, is fully operational and the roll out of the first production series aircraft took place in May 2003. A series of flight tests of the serial production aircraft was started in April 2004.
The Russian Air Force ordered official testing in May 2005. The full trials of the advanced combat trainer, including spin and combat tactics trials, were completed in December 2009 prior to delivery of the first two production aircraft to the Russian Air Force.
The first Yak-130 ordered by the Russian Air Force completed its flight acceptance test at Sokol in August 2009. The Russian Air Force received the first four of 12 Yak-130s between February 2010 and April 2010. Another five aircraft were delivered in April 2011.
In December 2011, the Russian Ministry of Defence placed an order with Irkut for the delivery of 55 Yak-130 combat trainers by 2015. The first batch of six aircraft was delivered to the Russian Air Force in October 2012. The second batch of three Yak-130s was delivered in November 2012. The aircraft deliveries were completed in early 2015.
The Russian Air Force commenced pilot training operations of the new Yak-130 combat aircraft in April 2013, however a Yak-130 plane crashed near Akhtubinsk in the Astrakhan region in April 2014.
The aircraft performed a flight with advanced digital avionics suite developed by KRET in June 2014.

Finally the bird is here! I confess that I did all that I could and depended on me for that aircraft to be a winner. I couldn't have done that without the help of my chosen team and some other good guys from CombatAce who helped also to the big push.
I also included a custom setting version of the plane as I let you all know from the aircraft thread.Essentially the same plane with some custom decals, custom adjusted paintjobs, DDS/DXT3 aircraft holes textures, aircraft texture tweak (engine exhauster fake mesh) and an Insky Team cockpit (edited to have characters in Russian rather than Chinese).I also included a set of some stock white Arab serial numbers for the Syrian paintjob.
Aircraft general features:
- canopy animation (SHIFT+0)
- aircraft workable slimmers (CTR+L)
- two different fueltanks models (see aircraft texture folders) depending on the chosen aircraft skin.
- custom fueltank to match the default aircraft texture colors/paintjob.
- YAK-130 gundpod model special crafted for this edition
- bump maps (normal maps)
- Custom modified entries on aircraft wing to match ECM symetrical pods models (TALISMAN).
- some modified textures for the cockpit to match Russians language.
- regular aircraft night lights.
- a suitable weapons collection hand picked by me for this very plane.
- constructor logo special decals
- special Russian Airforce decals
- original paintjobs, including the factory prototype one.
- superb/realistic pilot models
- engine smoke/vapors realistic effect
- custom made engine intake decals
- special/bonus BELARUS paintjob custom made for the launching aircraft event.
- Data.ini (engine section) /optional entries for an afterburner version.
- Two cockpit models available, one for the custom edition, one for the 1.0 regular version. Take your pick :)
